Couples = The silkiest power swing I ever seen. Saw him in play in person a few times, and the sound of the ball off his clubface would alarm you, because his swing looked like he was just bunting the ball. Especially in the balata ball era.

Nancy Lopez = (although not on tour) --------- Tempo Tempo Tempo

Jim Furyk = Im still trying to figure out how he doesnt shank it every time.

Steve Elkington has done more thinking about -- and messing about with -- his swing than most of us have had hot dinners. I like where he is now after starting to work with Martin Ayers. And man does he murder the turf.

No idea what he's doing with the right hand thought, though?

I really like Dustin Johnson's swing. Even though he's 6'4 and i'm only 6', I have the wing span of a person who is 6'4 and try and emulate what he does. We're both pretty long and ive had trouble finding my swing, but watching helps get a feel for how my swing should be.

Not sure if he's been mentioned but last night I watched an old episode of Playing Lessons from the Pro's with Jeff Maggert.

What a smooth swing! He emphasizes a lot on tempo on that episode and it shows. His swing is extremely smooth and effortless. Not the best distance wise but I really admire the tempo of his swing.

I just finished listening to Charlie Rose interview Andy Plummer and Mike Bennett. Rose asked whose swing on the Tour they admired most, and Plummer answered, Tim Clark. He said, without elaborating, that Clark's swing doesn't look like a great swing, but it has all the elements a good swing should have, and he hits the same ball very time. He also mentioned that Tiger likes to play practice rounds with Clark, "Why?" "Because he [Clark] hits it straight."
