Anyone see Furyk's ace in the Par 3 today with the Tour Yellow? That is some pretty good publicity for Srixon with the Pros starting to use these in big events (even if this was for fun).

They really do pop off of the screen too, I cannot wait to see what these look like in person and how they look on the golf course...

Tim Clark had one of these in play for at least a day in a tournament this year.

I forget which one exactly. They definitely stand out.

I wondered if this would push some other ball makers to come up w/ some different colored balls for their premium balls like Srixon did w/ these.

Time will tell.

The question is whether Furyk, Tim Clark (who used the yellow ball at the Match Play), or any of the other Srixon staffers will play it tomorrow or throughout the weekend.

I like the color on the TV. I am certainly interested to see if they use them during the tournament. Maybe a nice murple one will make an appearance eventually.

The honchos at Srixon certainly had all their prayers answered with Furyks ace. I imagined a bunch of old corporate guy high fiving on that one. Agree, the yellow ball looked great on that greener than green Augusta turf (the ball also matched the flag stick yellow Master's flag)

I've been playing the Tour Yellow for the last couple weeks... Obviously it plays the same as the tradt'l Z-Star X that I'm used to. They are kinda fun and funky.. I like them.

When I first heard a few months ago the Srixon was coming out with a yellow-colored version of the Z-Star, I thought it was just a marketing ploy that would fail miserably. After playing the Tour Yellow Z-StarX for the past few weeks (I normally play the Z-StarX), I am a true believer in the calims they make. It's so much easier to see the ball after a long drive, it's so much easier to spot your ball in the rough from far away, and the ball still performs exactly like the white version.

The problem I think Srixon will have is "traditional" golfers accepting something that is different. Hell, it's hard to get people to try a ball that doesn't say "Titleist" on it, so it'll really take something special to get them to try a colored ball. What Srixon has done though with their commercials everywhere and getting tour pros to atleast try it is getting the early adopters out there to give them a go and to see if they really work. Everyone won't be playing yellow balls overnight, but if they can get a select few to try them and then spread the word they'll have their best chance at getting the colored balls to stick around for a while.

if anyones range balls are yellow ( like some ranges ive been to) the look of that on the tee rather than a traditional white ball could make you more relaxed and hit like we do on the range. ( cause we all know a lot of us can do amazing on the range then get on the course and just fall apart.)

I bought a box yesterday and gotta say, they're staying in my bag and will be gamed exclusively...absolutely love em. I've played the regular Z-Stars and I have to say i have much more confidence (could be sugar pill effect) with them for reasons I can't fathom.

Definitely just saw Vijay shooting the Tour Yellow. Even when the colors start to look muted with the rain and clouds, the ball still pops off of the screen (especially in HD).

Saw Tim Clark still using the yellow ball today. Not 100% sure, but I think Furyk went back to a white version.

Noticed this on 18 today (Friday) and figured I'd see if anyone else noticed it.
