hi guys, i think scotty cameron is in trouble is a scotty cameron really worth it now since the nike method is out. it uses the same soft steel as scotty cameron 303 stainless steel costs 250 and i think it has a ton more feel. when i went to buy 1 i had to go to 3 golf galaxys to find the one i wanted ad they are sold out almost everywhere. I asked the man if he had it he said he had 1 left and i was lucky to get it as they are going to stop making then untill next month because they cant keep up with demand.

Guess the new Method piutters are so good that Tiger, who is employed by Nike, has decided to continue playing Scotty Cameron for free instead just so as to not gain an unfair advantage over the competion.

Rolex watches is also in big tobles. I just got a Seiko which is made of the same steelz as the rolex but keeps bettr time. had to goes to like 3 costcos to find it since they are so sold out but they had lotz of rolex. Seiko is going to stop making them cause they sels so well and can't make fast enough and are scared. The man at costco says I am luckies to get this and rolex is dead.

The Nike costs $250, the Cameron $300. I don't see why a putter that cost $50 less should put SC out of business. Also, feel is individual, what works best for you might not work best for the next guy.

On top of that, SC got so many fans around the world, they could probably keep the company alive alone.

Scotty isn't in trouble. Scotty, Nike, Ping and just about every other custom putter company makes a Answer style putter. They all are still in business and I see a lot of people game this same style but with different brands. I am pereasonally not a huge fan and of Answer style so I don't play it but there are so many other brands to compete with I don't think SC will be worried about the new release of the method. I will say that the method has a great feel and to be honest $250 isn't a big difference from $300 and I got my SC brand new for $200. If golfers wanted that Answer style putter for a fraction of the cost with a milled face they could buy the Cleveland VP1 for $70, SlotLine SS-381 for $100, Wilson Staff 8881 for $100, MacGregor Prestwick for $130. I am not trying to be rude but I am just giving you an idea of other milled putters for less than both Cameron and the Method.

First off I see what you mean by seiko being bought more than rolex because it is cheaper but people buy rolex because it says rolex. A of people could by a nice Honda or Toyota but they want the BMW or Mercedes because of the name and long

standing quality of the product. Scotty has a great rep and a huge line of followers so he won't be in trouble. Now secondly fix your English dude. It's hard to read your post with your horrible spelling. I know this isn't English class but proper spelling makes it easier for everyone on here to talk.

I think SC will be 100% fine.

But I do LOVE the nike method. Also - Rumor has it Tiger is thinking about making the switch.

If he does I think it would do a lot to boost Nike's profile as far as putters go, but probably wouldn't even register a dent in Scotty Cameron's.

I tried a method putter that this kid had on a practice green. I admit they do feel really nice and they are balanced well. But in no way does the product put another one in danger.

Funny, I hate the look of the face on the Method - looks like some shit some 3rd tier putter maker would put out in the 80's. Still, I'm sure it's a great putter, but I'mm be sticking my my Cameron Mil-Spec - admittedly an Anser knock-off, but it just looks and feels right to me - which is all that matters. Hell, Gary Player won how many majors with that $6 putter he got at a garage sale?
