Kenny Perry always looks good. He looks like he is dressed to go out and play professional golf.

The same with Fred Couples and John Cook. Vijay too, but I can do without the shiney shirts.

Tiger and Adam Scott look stylish because of their physiques. Tiger's wardrobe seems to be changing to some more feminine influences ...wife maybe?

I'm just not comfortable with this thread.....some phobia I'm sure....

not comfortable with the fact that being well-dressed and even half stylish gets you more attention from hot women?

DLIII and Luke Donald's Ralph Lauren gear is nice. I dig Scott's Burberry too.

Davis Love III is super classy dresser. Anybody know where you can buy the Polo rain gear?

Camilo, Jesper - basically anyone who wears JL gear - which is most of the Swedish contingent. Poulter always looks good IMO - different and not everyone's cup of tea, but I think he carries it off.

Adam Scott in his Burberry always looks very stylish - not as out there as Poulter and the JL guys, more classic I suppose - the Polo guys like Luke and DL3 look quite classical as well.

Retief Goosen always looks pretty classy with the sweater vests. It also helps that he has the Grey Goose logos. It just makes sense.

As others have mentioned, Adam Scott is near the top of the list, as is Tiger (except for that pink/orange/red shirt he has been wearing as of late.) I hate that thing, and I never can tell what color it really is.

I disagree about Sergio. His colors are too bright for my taste, but he usually color coordinates very nicely. I give props for that. The same goes for Ian Poulter and Camilo Villegas. I like the style, even though it's not the style for me personally.

Lastly, I'm a fan of Jim Furyk, but his all button-up shirts aren't cutting the mustard. My wife's favorite part about golf is breaking down the fashion, and she definitely disapproves of Furyk's current style. I have to agree.

Agreed - his yellow number at The Open was awful.

Disagree - O love their outfits, and although I couldn't get away with them - nowhere near good enough, and to wear that gear you'd have to be REALLY good - I really like them. If I was good enough there is no doubt as to what clothing I'd wear - JL all the way, love the designs and the colours.

Just as well we're not all the same I say..!!!!

Jim Furyk should be banned from the PGA tour untill he swears never to wear those button up, sunken chested, house coats ever again. At very least he should be fined part of his earnings.

Adam looks HOT in Burberry! And I reckon that's great for golf because it kinda has an image of plain boring people sometimes...

Check out Scott Online ^^

Adam Scott, Davis Love III (I'm a big Ralph Lauren fan!), Retief, Ernie. And always Payne Stewart, classy and old-fashioned!

I think Sergio, Poulter and Camilo need to stay away from those vibrant crazy colors. Personally I think that doesn't need to be on the course, that is just a distraction. I know it's a European thing but come on, that's not classy.

There is nothing wrong with colors. I would not wear some of the stuff they do, but Poulter and Camilo pull it off pretty well. It's more the cut than the colors that would keep me from doing it. I don't like to play in somthing too tight. Poulter has made it his M.O. We just expect him do do something wild. These guys are in their 20's and dressing with flair is fine. If DLIII or Couples tried it, I think it would look silly, but these guys are in shape and can push the envelope. It's good for the game.

I would have said Tiger hands down, but as of late his stuff has been mediocre at best. I agree completely about JL and Puma. Great looking stuff. Burberry is also very cool. I still love the classic stuff from Nike and Adidas. I just got a mango orange Adidas ClimaLite polo that I love. I also have a lime green one.

Come on now, the worst has to be Jesper Parnevik.

You're not giving Duffy Waldorf or Kevin Stadler their fair share.

    • Hi @RetiredOldMan!  I am glad to see you are still playing and having good scores.  I hope that when I am 79, I am not only able to play, but still able to produce as good scores as you have been doing.   I look forward to hearing more of your success and your opinion of the senior flex shafts.
    • Hello Golfing Buddies, It has been awhile since I posted but I am the Retired Old Man that asked for advice because I suffered two "T.I.A.'s about switching from playing right handed to playing left handed.  I purchased a Callaway Edge Left handed golf clubs. I changed the grips to oversize grips.  Well, two weeks ago and still at 79 years old, I shot a 44 and 47 on a small course in my hometown.  I am currently changing my shafts from regular flex to Senior flex.  So, you can see' it can be done! So, you other old timers; get with the program! Blessings to all of you. Retired Old Man (Terry Warner)

    • Probably since the golfer has to swing the club back and up. The hands have to move back and up. You can feel them go back and up just by turning the shoulders and bending the right arm, because it brings your hands towards your right shoulder.  The difference is if you maintain width or not. Less width means a shorter feeling swing path so the more you need to lift the arms. Being as someone who gets the right arm bend at 110+ degrees, it's 100% a timing issue. I am use to like a 1.5+ second backswing. It probably should be like 1 second at most. Half a second or more will feel like an eternity. I have had swings where I keep my right arm straighter and I am still trying to time the downswing based on the old tempo.  Ideally, for me, it is probably going to be a much quicker and shorter (in duration) backswing, while keeping the right elbow straighter. Which also means more hinging to get swing length without over swinging.
