so, its a saturday afternoon, the big tournament doesnt come on for a couple of hours, and you want to watch some golf. would you rather watch the seniors or the ladies?

Is it raining or something? Probably channel surfing or going outside to do something productive (sure I will).

At one time I would have said the ladies. But now, I can't even pronounce half the gals names. And with Freddie playing a lot on the Champions tour, it makes for an easy choice.

I would rather watch NCIS re-runs, but Law & Order will work in a pinch.

I will judge my rounds much more by the quality of my best shots than the acceptability of my worse ones.

Freddie is one of my favorites to watch.

Entertainment value the Seniors. Learn something, the ladies. Honestly the clubs and shots they make are closer to what I need to be trying. Even the seniors are hitting 200 yard 5 irons --a game with which I am unfamiliar, LOL.

The women are pretty bad.
I saw a load of them miss 4 footers.

Seniors.

They say a person has the most trouble with putts the length of their bodies...

I mean have you seen some of these women? Borderline midgets. I don't think I'd be watching any t.v. if a PGA Tour event wasn't on (unless the Chappelles show is on or Tosh.O. I'm not missing that hilarious stuff). I'll probably be out playing some golf myself instead. If I had to chose between the two, though, I think it would be the Senior Tour. Then the LPGA isn't that far behind.

Whether or not they could smoke James on the course (no kidding), doesn't necessaily make it entertaining television.

Example: Bob Ross could wipe up the floor with me if there was a "Painting Happy Trees" contest. Does that mean his PBS program is watchable? If that's the best show on, it's time to turn off the television, go outside, and experience real trees.

i vote for the champions tour, especially with the addition of couples, lehman. it's fairly watchable. and the women on the lpga have become increasingly more...um...well...let's just say i'll watch a little longer than i used to.

If Morgan Pressel or Christie Kerr or Paula Creamer or Natalie Gulbis are on I am watching. I love watching good golf, but I am still a man. I hate tennis, but I watch Sharapova.
