Don't be surprised if Tiger replicates another 2000 performance. Based on the scores this morning, i have to believe it gives him some confidence to see players struggling. He just needs to forget his driver and go 3 wood this entire weekend.

hopefully he'll leave it at home.

No point having it in the bag tempting him. As long as he can go around playing safe and picking up a birdie or two along the way he'll do great.

With Phil, I am not surprised he's on a train wreck. No matter what, it is always exciting to see Phil play...

Well, +3 at the US Open isn't exactly a train wreck...yet ;). He's still only 5 shots back and has had some looks at birdie over the past few holes. Granted, they were from some precarious positions on the approach shots

For his sake, I hope he literally leaves the driver at home. It is so firm out there that he just does not need it.

They have it on the website? For The Players it was prominately displayed on their "Video" section, if they also have the US Open, I don't see it.

      Day 209 (27 Nov 24) - Easy session with the LW - short pitches replicating greens side up and downs. Finished up with the 7i and hard foam balls - making 1/2 to 3/4 swings with deliberately slowed tempo…from varied lies.

      Yes, this is the 2024 model. DSG ruined what Callaway perfected for most golfers. A darn good 3 piece golf ball. Now it's a 2 piece cheap ball. To me a 2 piece ball is fine and a 3 piece budget ball is better. I prefer a slightly harder ball, something in the 65-75 compression range that will perform similar to the old Gamer. The Titleist tru-feel is pretty good. I planned on giving Maxfli straightfli a try.

      Is that the current generation Gamer? Another old standby for a firm and inexpensive ball is Pinnacle.  There are two models, the Rush and the Soft, but I don’t know what compression they are.
