Tour 18 Dallas (Flower Mound) had a deal where if u got their E Newsletter u got a round free 1 week/1after your bday. I signed up and got their news spam for 11 months and then I called to schedule my round on my bday and they said they were no longer doing that. I called and calmly voiced my displeasure and thought they should honor it and they were VERY RUDE. I used to pick that as my weekly round when it was my turn in my group to pick venue and I nipped that in the bud and will never be back.

I live in Las Colinas...is this course any good??  I found it online and it looks cool with the holes designed to mimick famous courses but some of the older reviews online say it's a dump; however, it's pretty pricey to be a "dump".

I am not a fan of it due to their false advertisement and rudeness but the course is fun to play some of the replica holes although in actuality they aren't exact replicas it is fun. Not nearly as good as other area courses. I am about to play Las Colinas Country Club soon and I am looking fwd to that

Well, I went to this old thread to try to find one for my birthday later this month, and only found that the info seems to be what I knew. Since I have golf plans two days before my b'day, and the day after, I might just not get a free round this year. Oh well. But I can add information by confirming this:
Talega offers a free birthday round as well, and it's off Pico. However, I went online to double check it, and for the life of me, cannot find the info.  I swear I saw it somewhere (in the pro shop maybe??).  I also remember the caveat that it was only free with a paying partner.
I was at Talega a month or so ago and they had it. It's free with one paying customer. Course is nice, but a little pricey (I think I paid $70 for a Friday round, with driving cart).

    • I’m not sure I agree. It’s just what the majority find more entertaining. Most people prefer women’s gymnastics over men in the Olympics. How much hype is there with the men’s compared to the women’s? I bet you can rattle off several big names in women’s gymnastics and only a handful of men. Women’s tennis …same thing. And sure enough, their purses are the same. However, WNBA, awful…LPGA, not near as much interest than PGA. Don’t think it’s really that complicated IMO.

    • Hence your Avatar!😜 I drink a lot of water during the day if I’m playing or exercising. I get cramps otherwise.
    • If you walk up to a food/drink kiosk at Magic Kingdom and ask the person for a cup of "magic water" they will give you a small cup of Sprite for free. About 3 fingers worth. They don't sell alcohol at MK anymore so I go over to one of the courses while she hangs out there.
    • This isn't some kind of natural fact. It's a lot more complicated than this implies.
