Depends on where he spends his time/energy.
I predict one major + 3 regular tour wins. He is one of the best golfers of all time and should improve quickly with good instruction (Foley) and dedication to golf. I think he should play more events in the "silly season" this year to gain confidence with high finishes.

I think he'll spend 2011 giving lessons at a driving range in west Texas.

He'll win, but he really missed a chance to get some majors in his bag this year. the old course and pebble are not back for another 5 years, and by then the tiger we knew of will likely be gone. I think he will get a major next year (likely at the PGA or US Open) and 3 or 4 other wins. I like Tiger at the match play next year.

Not that I'm disagreeing with you, but what makes that jump out at you?

He traditionally does very well in match play, and if his game is back on form we will know there. He can grind his way to a victory.

I think he will retire, give away all his money and join a religious order based in Las Vegas devoted to helping people who have problems with their chastity and immodesty.

Great answer. If you're right, you'll give Nostradamus a run for his money. If not, hey it was just a joke, right?

I picked one major and 4-6 wins. He finished 4th in a pair of majors this year, one of which was the Masters which he has won with some regularity over his career and which will be more or less the same next year as this year as last year... Watching his game, he has had some obvious problems with his tee shots and his putting has been off and on. Yet he's still mostly posting ok rounds thanks to his phenomenal ability to recover... So I don't think he has to make up all that much ground to get back to consistently contending. If he can get rid of the worst of his tee shots and make putts a bit more regularly, he'll be much of the way there. He isn't having so much trouble that he needs to totally rework everything to contend again, just has to kill the blow-up holes and drop a few strokes, which I think is plausible in a year. If you're Tiger.

In the bag:

Harmonized 52° GW, Tom Watson 56° SW, X-Forged Vintage 60° LW
White Hot XG #1 Putter, 33"

I think 2011 will be a rebounding year, but it won't be stellar. I predict 2012 to be the most dominating year for Tiger since 2000.

If he stays with Williams, he may win one or two tournaments. Williams is like his big brother and protects el Tigre by intimidating people, smashing cameras etc. With a new caddy, el Tigre may eventually grow up and take care of business. He'll win 4-6 when on his own and accepts himself

I think the Tiger era is over. I don't think he's done, but the era of that dude in red fist pumping his way to the top as the field crumbles around him is over. It's now the McIlory, Kim, Johnson, etc. era. Young monsters who hit the ball a mile. The PGA Championship was one of the best events in a very long time and guess what, no Tiger. Golf will be fine without him. I think it's good for golf.

I mean just read this thread. People are predicting 2 majors in one year when he hasn't won one in almost 3. We've been so conditioned to think he's the only one that we can't even admit he's not what he was. I look forward to the day where in situations where Tiger is 10 back, the announcers don't have to try to keep me watching by saying ridiculous things like "if he can get to x, he has a shot" or that nonsense Kostis was spouting after he started birdie-birdie.

I think Tiger will win one or 2 more majors but won't catch Jack. I also think his golfer of the year awards are over. The new crop will take over next year. It was a great era, one I'm glad I was around for, but I'm ready for something new.

I don't believe Tiger's current bad form will persist into 2011, he will I think, overcome the on and off course dramas and return next year to possibly win 1 or 2 tournaments, as far as majors go, I have to agree with the previous poster stricklandpropane, here that he will win another major or two in the future, he is too good too dismiss entirely though and he will bounce back. I don't think Tiger has lost his mojo, he is way too competitive to give up just yet.

good luck tiger,... I hope his head gets screwed back on straight,... the rest will come back then,...

who knows? If he plays well at the fedex playoffs and can carry some positive momentum into 2011 then he'll probably have a good year. If he tanks at the Barclays and doesn't play well for the rest of the year, 2011 may not be so good.

I do not know how many he will win BUT I do expect he will ditch the red shirt/black pants on Sunday's and go with some other color combo. Truth be told that red/black look is growing old. Tiger needs to switch it all up. New coach, new girl, new caddy, and a new look.

I voted for 1 major but also think he is going to win 5 times or more. The sad thing is that tiger, as poorly as he has played, still came in 4th place in two of the majors....like, ummm, thats pretty good..lol.

Time is the only thing he needs and 2011 is enough time for him to get his head straight from all the stuff this year; plus, Sean Foley is the absolute perfect match for him and his swing right now.

With his divorce behind him, and coincidently his game appearing to be improving, I'd say he's a good bet for 1 major and 1 - 3 event victories. If the competition wasn't so tough I'd probably peg him for more, but there's some young guys out there that seem ready to take Tiger on now.
