I'm in the same boat. Some of it, I feel, is that I have my home course down so cold that I could play it in my sleep. I've dropped even more than you this year.

Now, granted, I just picked the game up again last summer after a 10 year hiatus (still only 29, though).

I feel like all of my 'improvement' is just getting to where I should have been...and, I can see a ceiling smacking me hard in the face pretty soon. I have some serious swing changes and strength and conditioning improvements to make if I want to be scratch of better; I do feel, however, scratch of better is a realistic goal within a few years if I work really, really hard.

i hear ya bro

same age as similar index too i feel as if scratch, or even 1 is close...honestly for me....if i can drop 3-5 more putts a round, im there when i can putt (most likely anyone too) i can score low i thought i hit a ceiling at a 5 index...well i got past that after getting my driver woe's figured out I was a 2.9 two times this year...that sub 3 part is super tough to breach but......i need to putt better, plain and simple
