What kind of gear do you wear in the fall/winter?

I usually wear the same stuff I wear in summer, shorts and golf shirts. LOL

Whatever the weather dictates. On warmer days that could be shorts (it can easily hit high 60's to low 70's here on some of our nicer winter days), when it's cooler I'll wear khakis or jeans.

Yes, here in Colorado it is not unusual at all to see jeans on many courses in winter. They are comfortable, durable and warmer than most of the slacks intended for golf. And unless you have to have Levis, they can also be a lot cheaper... the last ones I bought were about $12 a pair. I hate wearing long underwear, so I'm more likely to wear jeans, or if it's windy and chilly, I might wear khakis with my rain pants. Obviously I don't try to wear jeans on courses which don't allow them.

I wear a turtleneck shirt and a long-sleeve wind shirt. Usually I will carry a short-sleeve sweater vest in my bag, and swap it for the wind shirt if it warms up a lot.

Sometimes I'll wear an old pair of gray wool dress slacks, which are warmer than cotton twill slacks. Corduroy slacks work too, as long as the cloth is thick.

And, I'll swap out my white cotton Hogan cap for a billed wool cap if it's windy.

Golf in November and December. Khakis, thick socks, rain pants, under armour mock, turtle neck, loose under armour long sleeve, fleece vest, winter golf gloves, spare winter gloves for in between shots, and of course the wool hat to cover the dome.
