My Balls are Cold

Anyone switch to a lower-compression ball for the winter? If so, what do you play? Any other winter equipment tips that help you play better?

I played this morning in sunny, mid-20's weather... Cold air, cold balls, short shots. Not quite as much fun as summer golf, although it's still great to be out there. Wondering if a lower-compression ball (especially one that hadn't spent the night in the trunk) might pickup a bit of distance over a proV1/Penta.

Put on some tighty whities and toss an extra ball in there to keep it warm while the other is in play. I guess you could be conventional and just use one of those hand warmers.

I have contemplated switching to some old e6+s that I have laying around for use in December, maybe January. They are much lower compression.

Wilson Zip. I read an article that rated it the best winter ball. Wilson says it's a zero compression ball, but it's likely closer to 50; I think what they mean though is no compression is lost due to temperature. I was going to give them a try, but I find keeping a couple balls in my pocket and rotating throughout the round has been working well, but 20F is too cold I think...it rarely get that cold here, except for today (18F), it's going back up to 40's next week...
