Fugly. Although, as a tall guy who needs longer iron shafts, I definitely applaud the principle of simple swing weight adjustment!

By the way, our director of golf here, a former tour pro who has variously been on staff for Cleveland, Ping and Mizuno, is absolutely wetting his pants to get some of these. Said he went to the demo day for the TaylorMade guys on the Sunshine Tour and they were as sweet as anything he's ever hit.

Stretch.

I like the way that those look... much better than the r11 driver.

ehhhhhh... no. I'll stick with my TP MB's. I like the fact that TM's coming out with more players irons, but the original TP blades look much better

Oh, BTW I hear they're also coming out with cavity back versions of these as well. One a players cavity, the other a GI cavity.

I think TM has successfully "borrowed" from Adams and Titleist.

I like it.

What they should have done is put a little TP logo cap on the hex screw. Maybe someone enterprising will make one for the aftermarket!

I don't think they look all that bad, but I must say I like the chrome colored weight over the black. It just looks better IMO.

Very much like these...
I think the Adams look a little better, even with the funky hardware and all.

Yes I would agree that I prefer that look over the TM versions.

Agreed. I think they look pretty sweet, and the ability to easily adjust swingweight seems really useful.

Looks a ton better than the layers of lead tape on my current irons. Talk about ugly.

I have to say that I like the look of the older Taylor Made TP MB Smoke (is that the full name, or is RAC involved too? ) as opposed to the new MB. I think it would have been near perfect if they took those old ones and replaced that TP logo with a weight. The CB and MC look cool though.

Yea, I don't really like the MB but the CB versions are a big improvement over TMs other CB irons as far as looks go. Looks simple and classic, as opposed to their other GI offerings which look more like golf club shaped lollipops.

I think it would be cool for them to sell these in a progressive set. For example, have the 3-5 irons CB, the 6 and 7 irons MC, and the 8-P MB.

I think these look pretty sweet, but I agree that the cavity back version looks quite a bit like the Titleist irons.

Nothing says "Players Iron" like a giant Captain America shield on the back of each iron and a USB-ish screw port in the back. If the Decepticons come, do these join together and become a fighter plane?

Hmm, thats a pretty cool idea. I would definitely be intrigued if they ever did something like that.

No, they turn into Cheetara

Does anyone know if they are going to make them left handed? Because I was going to get the TP Smoke irons and they do not make them left handed.
