I'm a Bengals fan. I used to want a Bengal tiger headcover. Now I wouldn't want one anywhere near my clubs. I'd be afraid those losers would rub off on my golf game.

I got a labrador one when my Lab Phoebe passed away and now she watches over every shot... I have actually been known to line my stand bag up so she gets a good view too....

My mates gave me a bit of s*(t when they saw it but after explaining why they "got it"...

It is a PITA when putting the rain cover over the clubs but other than that no issues...

I have a Chewbacca headcover, everyone loves it, but seriously who doesn't like chewbacca? Adds character. Getting a lab head cover, not gonna lie you might get made fun of for that from your buddies for a bit.

Personally, I find they take too much room on the bag. But I must admit, I got one as a gift a couple of years after I started playing. It was a skunk (as in you stink) head cover from my brother-in-law.

I have a rhino headcover that I had on my driver since I was 5 years old when my dad started me off golfing.  Now the rhino is on my 3-wood because it can't fit on my 909 driver.  I personally like them golf is fun for me and looking at a goofy headcover helps me relax in a way.

I don't like tha animal one because they tend to take up too much room in the bag. But like other's said, it's what makes you happy.

I like them, but as many others have said they take up too much room.  I had a yellow lab head cover and returned it the same day.

Driver:  R9 460 9.5* 

4 Wood:  SQ Dymo2 17*

      I'm not sure you're calculating the number of strokes you would need to give correctly. The way I figure it, a 6.9 index golfer playing from tees that are rated 70.8/126 would have a course handicap of 6. A 20-index golfer playing from tees that are rated 64/106 would have a course handicap of 11. Therefore, based on the example above, assuming this is the same golf course and these index & slope numbers are based on the different tees, you should only have to give 5 strokes (or one stroke on the five most difficult holes if match play) not 6. Regardless, I get your point...the average golfer has no understanding of how the system works and trying to explain it to people, who haven't bothered to read the documentation provided by either the USGA or the R&A, is hopeless. In any case, I think the WHS as it currently is, does the best job possible of leveling the playing field and I think most golfers (obviously, based on the back & forth on this thread, not all golfers) at least comprehend that.

      Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
