Broken editor in Firefox

What's Broken: Trying to correct or edit a post using Firefox. Where was I? attempting to reply to a thread. If something is misspelled or I need to re-phrase, the editor just goes nuts. Also, no cursor while typing. I can't copy and/or paste, either since I was just trying to bring in the net agent info. OS/Browser info: XP using Firefox 4.0 Date: Today and everytime. But it will work in Explorer

Huddler is aware of these bugs and is working to improve them. In the meantime, another browser or switching to the basic editor is advised.

Okay thanks... but as it happens it occurs using either the quick reply or the full page editor. I will make this the last try with FF and use the "Open in IE" plugin to make it easier.

Just don't make it IE 9. ;-) FF4 and IE9 are problems right now because they're so new. This editor, a version of the "CK Editor," is a lot of code and work.

Again, if it's too much of a problem, the basic BB Code Editor is an option until this CK variant is improved.

Just changed to the BB code thing. That certainly seems to take of it... Okay- back to Firefox! Thanks again!

In FF4, in the Reply area...if you click 'Source' (goes to source view) and then click 'Source' again (goes back to editor), you can see your cursor and use all the features of the editor.

Just click the "Clear" button when you want to post a reply, and there won't be any problems.

      26 Nov 24 -  It was not a record breaking round by any means, but rather a simple walking of the back nine today playing TBWB (two ball-worse ball) where the challenge is to play the worse of the two shots played - could be an errant drive from the woods, a tree knocked ball that is 100 yds farther back down the fairway, a nGIR ball as opposed to a GIR….the goal today was to stay no worse than bogie thru nine.  Managed to achieve that goal - bogied 7 holes with one dbl and one par to counter the dbl.  It’s about staying focused and not letting a bad shot or lie derail, but rather be an opportunity.

      Day 208 (26 Nov 24)- Opted to walk 9 today (was the back nine as they had a huge group going off the front) but instead of it being persimmons and blades, I had the regular gamers but made it a TBWB (two ball-worst ball) round.  This really challenges on several fronts - ball striking to be as consistent as possible, course management from non-optimal lies and keeping your head in it as it can be depressing to nail a shot on line-on target and the second rattles the trees right and it’s over 50 yards back and that’s the one you have to play.  The goal was to be no worse than bogie overall (+9).  Finished the round exactly on the number with some solid recoveries, no penalty strokes and only one 3-putt.
