A few days ago I played in my school's league finals 2 day tournament which consisted of 6 schools with 6 kids from each school participating. It was an individual tournament and even your teammates were your opponents. We played at Los Serranos Country Club in Chino Hills, CA; first on the north side (par 72), 2nd day on the south side (par 74).

In the end I ended up winning the tournament by 2 strokes by shooting 72-75 which was 1 over. I got a nice medal and the title, "empire league champion."
Haha my coach was so happy since it was the 4th year in a row we had someone from my school win.

Dont want to sound like I'm bragging but I was really pleased with my scores which doesn't happen often :)

BIG Congratulations to you.  Those are very fun, but very tough, courses.  I know players with handicaps under yours who would be ecstatic with those scores.  Congratulations.  I hope someone in charge of college golf recruiting noticed.

Congrats dude! That's awesome!

When I was a senior in high school, I had a similar-ish experience. I played a course that in previous years killed me, but no more.  It was in Illinois a tough course called White Deer Run, and there was a tournament there with 6 or 7 schools, each with 5 kids playing.  I played as number 5, not expecting to place high because of the previous years.  These greens are abnormally fast, but I liked them this day.  18 holes I went 2 over, with 3 birdies.  My team, before I had come in, was a couple strokes behind.  But when I came in, we won the tournament by 4 strokes and I had individually placed first!

Again congratulations! Winning a tournament is always a great achievement!
