Best Sunscreen For Sensitive Skin???

What is your favorite sunscreen to wear when golfing, and why is it your favorite?

I have been searching for the right sunscreen but have not been satisfied with the level of protection for my pale skin. My skin also gets irritated very easily by sunscreen and other products...

The 2011 sunscreen guide just came out from EWG. Has anyone heard of Dermagenics? They were ranked really highly, but I have never seen them in the store. Heres the page on EWG.

Anyways, please tell me your favorite sunscreen.

I have had a similar problem to you for as long as I can remember.  (Thank you Irish heritage)

Anyways I have been using Coppertone Sensitive Skin Faces.  Its SPF 50 and has not only kept me from burning it washed off well in the shower and doesn't irritate my super-sensitive skin.

I think it's a step above the neutrogena brand.  Neutrogena is a little more oily.

Aloe Gator - Aloe Vera base,  non sticky, waterproof, skin feels softer. Lasts for a full day surfing.

Hard to find in regular stores, but the surf shops all have it. You can probably find it online.

I like the BullFrog gel.  It is messy but stays on for the round (in fact you have to wash it off).  We sweat some out here in Arizona and it's important to have protection that stays.

My family has had great luck using Target's up & up brand of sun block product for the past few years.  It is highly rated, effective, and affordable, and comes in a handy spray container.  Ounce for ounce, it is great.

For the face, we use Neutrogena sensitive sun block -  a bit oily, but effective.

I use Banana Boat Baby Sunblock.  It has titanium oxide (white stuff on your paint) that actually blocks not reduces the UV light.  And because it is Baby formula, it is gentle on your skin.

You want something that can actually block UV light.  For that zinc oxide (white stuff life guards put on their nose) or titanium oxide is the best.  So you should look for a sunblock (not sunscreen--but sunblock) that has one of these ingredients.

For running and golf I use Neutrogena Ultimate Sport Sunblock Spray SPF 100+ and Neutrogena Ultimate Sport Face Sunblock Lotion both are waterproof.  One application is usually good for 2-3 hours in really hot conditions.

Might check that out myself.  Been using a 'kids' SPF 50 from AVON, got a couple 'cornflakes' on my ears which I must protect.
