Being younger i personally like Puma, even though they can get a bit pricey, and then Nike makes some good shirts as well.  I just cant stand the companies who make golfshirts where the sleeves come down to your elbow...makes me feel like an old man lol.  Just wondering what kind of shirt everyone liked.

Nike kicks butt. The fit is really good for me. I'm not a huge fan of their Sphere-Dri material. The Dri-Fit is much better. Plus, they have some nice design about them. I also wear Ralph Lauren Polo shirts. I used to be on a big Adidas kick, but they have lost favor to Nike. They make some super ugly shirts. The three stripes in random spots and the "tech patterns". Lame. I like the looks of Travis Matthew, but don't own any of their shirts. Also, can't beat a basic H&M; cotton polo for only $9.95!

This. I have been given a couple of Nike ( Small ) dri-fits that do this.

The weird thing is, they have other size small dri-fits that fit perfectly. It seems their sizing is all messed up between shirts.

I like Adidas clima-cool shirts too ( $20 at Winners )

The Adidas Formotion shirts are great for those who prefer something more fitted. I also have a couple of Nike Dri-FIT shirts, which are nice.

Ashworth or Adidas, but the sleeves are always too long, so I take them to a tailor and have the sleeves shortened.  I'm a little OCD, hate having a shirt sleeve hang past my elbows when I am golfing.  My brother and I joke, if I could find a sleeveless women's shirt that was big enough I'd wear them!

I love Puma and Nike. Tiger's collection obviously trumps in the nike line, just have to pick and choose when I get one being that they're so pricey. Once I went to a Nike outlet in Orlando and they were selling his shirts from the previous year for like $25 a piece! I bought quite a few haha.

Anyone know where to find Original Penguin by Munsingwear?? I really like the look of those shirts but can't find em in a store ANYWHERE to try on. I refuse to order online without knowing which size will fit right

I always seem to feel most comfortable in Nike shirts...really light and also cool feeling.

PGAtour makes some decent shirts, as well.  I find those at Dunhams Sports.  As long as the material doesn't feel heavy and it doesn't feel like my shoulders are all bound up..I'm ok with it.

I'll wear whatever, really, but one of my favorite shirts is a Cutter and Buck I got on sale for next to nothing. I'm too cheap to buy Under Armour, though I love everything else they make.

The cheapo Wal Mart brand shirts (George?) are surprisingly good, too. They are thin and light. They are my go-to for the really hot days.

I prefer Greg Norman from Macy's.

Tasso Elba actually makes them and then Norman puts his logo on it.  So comfort and quality is there.

Also the price is right.  With a coupon and sale I was able to get them under $20 a piece.

I lost some weight this year and now need a small size and most companies start with mediums.  Norman has a small size.

Their sleeves are shorter than most I've tried.  Might be worth a shot to try them.

Very light in the heat and I was caught in the rain once and the moisture wicking was awesome on the outside as well.  You couldn't even tell the shirt was wet even through the fabric looks like silk.

Also forgot to mention.  I bought a "PGA Tour" shirt from JC Pennies recently and their sleeves were really short.

    • Day 11: did mirror work for a while. Worked on the same stuff.
    • I'm not sure you're calculating the number of strokes you would need to give correctly. The way I figure it, a 6.9 index golfer playing from tees that are rated 70.8/126 would have a course handicap of 6. A 20-index golfer playing from tees that are rated 64/106 would have a course handicap of 11. Therefore, based on the example above, assuming this is the same golf course and these index & slope numbers are based on the different tees, you should only have to give 5 strokes (or one stroke on the five most difficult holes if match play) not 6. Regardless, I get your point...the average golfer has no understanding of how the system works and trying to explain it to people, who haven't bothered to read the documentation provided by either the USGA or the R&A, is hopeless. In any case, I think the WHS as it currently is, does the best job possible of leveling the playing field and I think most golfers (obviously, based on the back & forth on this thread, not all golfers) at least comprehend that.
    • Day 115 12-5 Skills work tonight. Mostly just trying to be more aware of the shaft and where it's at. Hit foam golf balls.
    • Day 25 (5 Dec 25) - total rain day, worked on tempo and distance control.
    • Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
