My iron set came with TrueTemper Actionlite Stiff flex.

That's actually a relabled Dynalite Stiff.

Callaway X20 Tours : Last summer, I reshafted them from PX 5.0 Rifle flighted (115 grams) to Nippon NS Pro 8950.GH  in R-flex (97 grams). I was lucky enough to have a second demo 6i which matched the set, so I played around with different shafts in that until I found what I wanted.

The 8950 goes about 12 yds. a club farther, launches fairly high with low spin. The low spin fights the wind pretty well, and the steep descent angle gives it good stopping power.

TM SLDR irons: Came with the stock KBS Tour C-Taper 90, R.flex.  It launches the ball medium, but it's a lighter shaft so the ball flies well. TM and KBS sources can't agree on the actual shaft weight: I've heard anywhere from 94 to 102 grams. (It's a proprietary version for TM; it's not listed in component books).

Sometimes the clubs feel a bit light; maybe a + + swingweight might make them feel more solid.

Confusion factor on shafts: I went back to regular shafts about 6 years ago, as I was losing too much distance from the Dynalite S300 stiffs, and still shafts on woods. But, the Mizuno man came last year with the shaft optimizer. The SO charted me at stiff soft-stepped for several mid-weight  shafts. So, I probably need to get an iron fitting to make sure.  Last one was three years ago, and I decided to keep the X20 Tours.

A clubfitter at the Golf Expo this weekend told me to consider more than just clubhead speed when choosing flex and shaft. He said the Mizuno figures on things such as tempo, toe down, etc. give a better picture of shaft needs than just clubhead speed. Transition at top (quick, smooth or slow) is a big factor.

Focus, connect and follow through!

Aerotech 95 Stiff flex on irons ap1 2010 , I think the trajectory is similar with kbs tour yet it have more spin which I prefer. I also like dynamic gold light. And standard s200 on my titleist wedges , haven't found anything better .

    • To flog this subject even further, if that's even possible, this article from Golf Monthly just appeared today in one of my news feeds. Written by a golf writer in the UK who I never heard of, he's basically saying that there should be only 3-5 rounds from the most recent 20 that should count towards the average and only competitive rounds should count. He claims the erratic scorers would have less of an advantage than they do now. He makes a lot of references to "club golfers" in the UK being the ones who are mostly dissatisfied. https://share.google/qmZZBEoJvOxHxJGil  In my experience with my league where we have golfers with indexes ranging from 5 to 40, looking at the weekly results from the past two years, I can detect no pattern that would substantiate the claim that the current system gives an unfair advantage to either erratic golfers (aren't we all?) or higher handicappers. Apparently though, at least in the UK, this seems to be "a thing."
