Titleist. I've had my 975 18.5 for three years now and like it, great workability. Same goes for my 906F4 13.5, which I got last fall. Great off the deck, tee shots took some getting used to due to the low profile.

. . .I just purchased a 3 & 5 Taylor Made CGB's which I have only hit on one outing! They seem awesome. I also have a Taylor Made Hybrid #5 which is 25 degrees. These three clubs should elevate my game. . .hopefully!!

I use Adams RPM's but I'm hoping to upgrade this year. I was thinking maybe the new Ping G10's. I would love to go Titliest to match my irons but everything I read tells me the Titliest woods are more of a players club. I think I need more forgiveness in a fairway club then the Titliest give.

Callaway X-Hot 3W.....easy to hit long and straight.

Yeeeeaaa Buddy

Those X's are longer than some drivers. The face is just soo hot--unlike anything ive hit. he only thing i hit compared to the hotness of that face is the Cobra speed ld drivers

"People think the size of the head is most important. Wrong. It's getting a quality shaft. test different shafts to see which goes the straightest. Also, more degrees of loft on the head is better than less. Eleven degrees is about right."

    • Well, I have a 2 hybrid, 4 hybrid and then play 6 iron onwards.  My best clubs are probably the 4 hybrid and the PW.  What I find is that loft is your friend in general which is why my 4 hybrid is so much better than my 2 hybrid.  Definitely disproportionately more so than the 5 or so degrees of difference in loft.  If you have hybrids, play them.  And consider loft as your friend.  Invariably you will get up to a loft where anything less will not get you more distance because of your club head speed.  Essentially the faster you swing the less lofted a club you can hit effectively.  For me it is probably a 4 hybrid and maybe a 7 iron though I could improve both with practice
    • Off to my home state of Massachusetts this morning. 9 this afternoon,  18 tomorrow,  and 18 on Saturday. Hoping for some good scores but will be just happy playing with good friends.
