Is it as good as the more expensive grass simulated mats?

Not sure how long it would last but it looks pretty damn good to me... If my practice facility wasn't grass I'd try one out.

Dave bought the best mats he could get - and they were nearly the most expensive, too - for the indoor facility we've just opened.

They're called TrueStrike: Home - TrueStrike-Golf mats and golf driving range mats. They're supposed to last a looooong time and they behave and react really well. I can't imagine this thing doing better than the TrueStrikes.

The TrueStrike mats are amazing... The local GolfSmith has a large hitting area and each station (something like 10-12 of them) has these.  I'll go there just to hit balls sometimes if it's hot and I don't want to deal with the heat.

The thing I like about the one that the OP posted is that it looks pretty portable which would be nice if the local range was mat only.  If I was setting up my own hitting area at home (which I plan to do when I buy a house) I think I'd go with the TrueStrike.

This looks very interesting, I was thinking about making something like this to take to the various ranges I use.  Price is a little steep, if it was $80-$99, I'd probably but it.
