I got this neat little booklet from the USGA when I renewed my membership.  It is a condensed rules book and is pretty handy.

OK, so the hat wasn't so good, but you can always donate it to First Tees or something.  No link, just a note for people who hate to read rule books.  This one was very simple and easy to understand.  I've read the rule book and have a couple of others like Golf Rules Illustrated. For the most part, golf rules are easy to understand.  Something like this shortcut book would be very useful for people who hate to read.
