Yes - the boxer briefs that hug your hamstrings are comfy

While I also dont have this problem I can understand your problem, I played with someone wearing white pants with a bad gas problem, the final result was white pants that looked like a coffee filter

haha, oh man, it sounds like there was more than just gas passing through there! If it's just sweat though, I wouldn't be embarrassed. When it's hot out people sweat, some more than others. So don't sweat it!

Try looking at some Gordon Copper pants insanely light weight and really comfy. I have a pair in black and played in 35 degree weather today and was not overheated for a second

Reminds me of the time Funk, Sorenstam and Woods played in that skins tourney or something like that.  Funk wore that skirt, kneeled over to read his putt and asked Tiger for a read.  Tiger responded with, "Two balls to the left."

Under Armour makes plenty of golf shorts and pants, I have 4 or 5 pair that I wear between golf and work. Very lightweight and breathable and far less constricting than cotton. I also have a pair of Nike Dri-Fit tech pants that work great, and some of the Puma pants/shorts.  Even when it rains and then it stops, within like 30 minutes they are dry again.

Half a dozen good shakes of talc down the shorts (no briefs please) before teeing off. Refresh at half way. Every golf club here has copious supplies of Johnson's Baby Powder in the mens' locker room. We don't miss the raaaains down in Aaaaafrica!

Stretch.

Okay I'm a girl and I don't play golf but I workout like every day and I only sweat under my arms, between my boobies, and my butt/crotch. I find that nike fri fit materials or similar fabrics work best!! Honestly I'm not that too too embarrassed because I know that I work hard in the gym and I have the sweat to prove it. I however, do not want to offend people.. So I try to stick to these :) hope that helps! Good luck!!!
