Rose and Hanson dropping strokes too ... Spazzy Bradley's the only leader who's playing like one.

In my bag ... 12 year old Balvenie DoubleWood

Ok Bubba stop the bleeding here. You are on in GIR

Rory, he looks like he has got winning on his mind.

You have to do some real convincing with me to believe that Bubba has the kind of swing - and game - that can hold up under pressure. Goofiest footwork I've ever seen from a pro. Sure he can bomb it & reduce a lot of courses down to punch-wedge second shots, but if that driver gets crooked - like it is right now - he can't win.

He has to get that driver under control because that tee shot on 5 was off the map!

Earlier in the broadcast they were showing Bubba's footwork on the range.  Of course, Johnny Miller's commentary was "that looks just like my feet back in the 70s" or something.  Now he's talking about how all of his excess movement can't hold up under pressure.

Not a good sign, but that is how he normally plays. One second he is instructing the gallery and the next second he is hitting the ball. If you are following on the course you better pay attention because he just pulls the trigger when you don't expect it.

Yeah, I have noticed that when following him at other tournaments. But his demeanor in the final round is a complete 180 from the first 3 rounds. He's needs to keep that loose feeling...keep joking around etc.. He is wound up tight. And just missed another fairway WAY right...flirted with water again. I don't think he should see a swing coach but a mental coach could definitely benefit him. Tiger looks like he is getting ready to throw his bag in the lake! He checked out. When he isn't throwing F-bombs after he rinses one you know he has lost interest.

Nobody contradicts themselves like Johnny Miller. Sometimes he will do it in the same sentence.

I noticed just didn't comment due to Bubba's mess. I actually just said to myself out loud "Donald, where the f did you come from?" He wants his championship belt back! Rory and Luke are in their own tournament. What has to happen for Luke to take it back?

I hope not.  The last thing I want is to have to see that spaz on TV more than I do now...... lol

Looks like he decided to get this out of the way early.  Maybe he can still recover?

That made my day.  I spent half of my round doing that yesterday and was ready to give up golfing completely (even though I had the round of my life the day before), now I'm ready to hit the course again :)

Funniest thing I've seen this week.  On ALL of the internetz, that is...not just golf nor TV.  That giddy laugh immediately after it went in was...just priceless.

I would hope he would find out pretty soon.  Hell, he could hit 4-iron off of most of these tees.

I don't think Bubba is doing himself a service with that big swing. Sure he hits it a mile, but all that movement means he has to rely more on timing. Once you are in the lead on Sunday and the timing is not perfect, the more complex your swing is, the more likely you are to make mistakes. He would crush the field if he hit his drives as good as he has earlier this week, but at this pace, he'll have to buy new balls for the back nine.

He's in the position where he used to put everyone else --- he has to go for every pin to have a chance to win, and unless you hit every shot almost perfectly (like he did last Sunday), that will get you a lot of bogeys. Oh well, he still has three weeks to figure it out. Looks like Bradley is the real deal. I can't understand how he can hit the ball with all that fidgeting, but apparently it works for him.

Those red pants are just as bad as the green ones from yesterday. He is knocking them down though.

    • Day 314 - Putting some things together. Better grip/setup, fuller backswing, better finishing position. Filmed some swings, happy with the progress.
    • Day 130: did a stack session.
    • Day 206 (24 Nov 24)  - An easy session with the 54deg wedge and hard foam balls / one simple goal - distance control thru backswing length while not decelerating.  Had a playing partner comment they noticed me decelerating on a couple short wedge shots in last round.  Hit from distances from close to 40yds down to 20.
    • Musgrove Mill hole #15 was converted to a par 3 after Hurricane Helene. Today, I had 145 from the tee which is a perfect 9-iron for me. I aimed just right of the hole and pulled it a few feet. Clanked off the stick down into the hole and ricocheted out of the hole 13’ away. Drained the putt for a birdie after repairing the hole which was damaged . Not sure if it would have counted as a HIO, but I was pretty excited!
    • Day 55 - 2024-11-24 Did five levels of Operation 36 on GSPro (different courses). 🙂 Was -4 from 200 yards (32) intentionally laying up on each hole (i.e. not hitting a 5I or something). Shot… 22, 24, 26 from 25, 50, and 100 yards. I forget my 150-yard score, but obviously it was < 36. Putting was odd… (and I did it with the wedge or a 7I or whatever was in my hand).
