They can't delete their first post. If they post multiple entries, they're DQed. Them's the rules. You can get your picks in early (putting you earlier in the line, since we're taking the first two people with the correct predictions), or you can wait to gather more information and potentially make a better pick, but you risk having two people post before you with the same pick.

Dustin Johnson just withdrew. Smart people will wait until late Wednesday to make their picks. So will I.

I got a kick out of this:

Screen Shot 2012-04-03 at 1.41.40 pm.PNG

Apparently three players are going to average 44.75 strokes for four rounds. Or maybe the tournament will be shortened to 54 holes and and these guys are going to shoot at least one round of 59 or better at Augusta National.

Note: this doesn't count as his entry. Entries must be made by people submitting posts themselves, and since he's currently serving time in the Penalty Box and can't post... bummer for him when Hunter Mahan goes around in 43-46-45-45 to win his first major, eh?

Those "smart people" are less likely to be one of the FIRST TWO people to choose a player and his score. For example, the third person to take "Tiger at 273" must be hoping one of the two people before him DQs himself - that's all I can figure.

So I can't change my people once I've posted if one of them say...pulls out with an injury? Lame.

I'm sorry you feel it's lame. I think it's fair to everyone else who follows the rules.

    • Lately, I feel that sometimes I stand over the ball a little too long and I twitch my shoulders like a spaz. I have been playing really well, but feel that I need to get set and go. There is always something to improve on.
    • Things are moving quickly this season and I just knocked off the hardest hole on the back nine. I have the number 1 handicap hole still on the list and two others. Since early retirement, this playing 3 times a week is working out pretty well!

    • Day 35 (26 Feb 25) - Day of easy work (hanging around the house as son had shoulder surgery and I needed to help keep an eye on him).  Worked on low spinner 50deg wedges - keeping the ball low flighted and checking quick.  Went with the 8i after to do low flighted runners.  Great visit on two ways to get the same/similar results.  May be able to get away tomorrow for a short 9hole round (as long as the son's recovery cooperates).....
    • Day 1: 2/26/2025: So, I'm starting over on this again.  My son brought home the mother of all flu bugs from school. It raged though our house and knocked me on my butt for about 3 days.  Now, that I think I'm clear of the death plague my son gave me. I was able to rise early this morning and get some nice mirror work in. I felt stiff like a board for the first few swings, but loosened up and was able to get at least 20 minutes of first robotic slow swings and then gradually more fluid swings.  My focus was on the timing and fluidity of my priority pieces.
