I have a 10.5 degree R11 I seem to hit it a mile in the air I have adjusted the loft down and it hasn't seemed to change my ball flight. Is there anything I can do without changing drivers?

Shallower angle of attack.  You should post a video of your swing or a pic of your impact.

Try lowering the tee height.  I also address the ball a little further back from my lead foot if it's very windy and I want to keep the trajectory down.

Are you hanging back? If I do not feel like I'm driving into a flexed lead knee, I can get into a habit of hanging back on my driver and therefore increasing the loft on the club and hitting it high. This can happen even when I move the ball back.

high arms into the finish like your reaching for the sky,...

wa son the golf channel other day that when a pro hits low into the wind they finish high with straighter arms, and when hitting high the arms collapse normally after impact

no idea how it works mind.....

When I want to work on shallowing my angle of attack, I hit balls from a squatted position.  Works for me.  It ingrains a feel and then I try to retain that in my normal swing.

We gotta be careful here, lots of info we don't know about that influence what might be going on.  Are the balls ballooning or just launching too high?  I'm guessing it's the first one, ball just keeping rising.

We want to hit the driver high with lowish spin.  How much depends on your swing speed and aoa(angle of attack).  Like 3Wiggle said, it would be a good idea to shallow your angle of attack.  To do this there are a few things to do, the easiest is to just play the driver forward in your stance, about even or forward of your left shoulder.  This will allow you to hit up without actually having to swing "up".  Check out this Thread .  I would also suggest having the handle forward at address as well as the hips.  Good video to check out on how to do that.  Don't worry about the "S&T;" part of it, the top instructors on tour are using this set-up to help many players who aren't "S&T;" players hit the driver much farther by improving their aoa.

As mvmac says, there is much unknown and practicing swing-tip-coach without seeing you and knowing what you are trying to do, is akin to giving psychological advice over the radio after a 10-second interview. Makes for good entertainment and often bad advise.

My swing is not like most. I am a student of Moe Norman's swing. He stood farther from the ball at address and did not need to clear his hips to get the shaft back on the correct plane (gross simplification but correct for the point of the front flexed knee). In my swing, if I straighten that front knee at impact, I have raised up and/or held back (tilted weight back instead of through impact). With a driver, this often leads to hitting the ball higher than I wish.

Your swing will vary.

My point was that a high flight on a driver could be what I call holding back on the swing. Leaning back instead of driving through the ball. Watching video will make it clear what your issue(s) is.

Thanks for all the help. I just got back from the range just by putting the ball back in my stance as if I was hitting a 4 iron I was able to hit the ball much lower.  I was also having problems hitting fades and by putting it back in my stance I was able to hit it straight or with a little draw.
