How many clubs do you play with?

I play with 13 - Driver, 3W, 5W, 3i-6i, 7-PW, SW, putter. In reality, I could easily play with 12 as I've only hit my 5W once this year since adding the hybrids.

I have played with thirteen and I have played with twelve. However I carry fourteen. My signature, below, describes which clubs I carry. I would like to go out one day and try to play with only six or seven clubs.

14 clubs, don't need anymore, would like to think i could get by with fewer if i had to. i will go out and play after the course is closed for the season and carry only 4 clubs, so it can be done.

1-3-5 woods- some old Knights I have had for a long time
3-9 irons and PW - some nice Titleist irons with graphite shafts
56 degree wedge - probably my favorite club in the bag
and of course, the putter

I only started playing a few months ago. On the advice of everyone on the planet it seems, and most importantly the pro I was taking lessons from, I skipped buying a driver and use a 3 wood off the tee. And the club fitter who made my set recommended, after a lengthy fitting and analysis session, that I not get any irons longer than a 5. What I ended up getting therefor was 6 - PW, SW, and a hybrid.

I'm planning on making it 10 soon, with the addition of a lob wedge. I really like wedge play and since I often find myself just 30 feet off the green that seems like it would be a welcome addition to my bag.

I have 14 clubs but i could easily drop all my woods because I don't use them. I'm going to be taking the 5 wood out here soon when my 52* wedge comes in

I could probably take 7 clubs to the course and be fine; driver, 3 iron, 5 iron, 7 iron, PW, SW and putter. Just about all I use anyway.

I play with 14, see below. I pulled my 3 iron for an extra wedge and depending on the course I may switch back.

Where's the option for more than 14? You guys know who you are

I always play with 14. I agree, that I don't use my 5 wood very often, but I think it is crazy to not carry the maximum number of clubs allowed by the rules. I have considered replacing my 5 wood with a 60d wedge.
