I purchased one of these this weekend:

I no longer play grip games while lining up a putt. I'm getting a little arthritis and this year I've noticed myself fondling my putter excessively when getting set up. Not sure if it's minor hand pain or lack of confidence over the ball but adding one of these has helped me. I know they're laughable and look atrocious but it's helped me.

I'm curious about others who've tried one of these and if you liked them enough to continue using or went back to a more normal size grip.

I put a Super-Stroke grip on my putter a month ago....and since have never rolled the ball better in my life! Could be mental, could be I just needed a new feel, but either way I love and don't see myself changing back anytime soon.

Ditto with me, its been about 6 weeks and I've never in my life been looking to make every putt inside 15 feet like I do now.  I have a Nike Tour bag, its not as big as most tour bags and the putter fits in it fine.

I putt a Winn jumbo putter grip on my putter sometime last summer and I've loved it. I can't imagine not using one now. It really keeps the hands still and has helped me with some of the yips.

I've been using a Super Stroke Slim for about six weeks. Love it!! What I like best is it has no taper. I putt "left hand low" and having a straight grip really feels great.

I has a Instructor recommend an oversize putter grip. I was reluctant, but he said to try it for a few months, and that If I didn't like it, he would buy me a regular grip to put back on. So I gave it a try, that was 6 years ago. I have used an oversize grip ever since then. Not as big as the one you posted, mine was a Tiger Shark grip. I now use an Odyssey Jumbo size grip on my putter.

Seems to be a more natural grip for me, and it's one less thing for me to worry about when putting. My hands just seem to naturally go into the right place.

A week into this grip, 45 holes and about 3 hours of practice putting. My lag putts are for sure more steady and consistent distance wise. Inside 10foot just feels much better.

I've had this putter about 7 years now, this grip will keep me on it for another 7 at least.

I have been using the Super Stroke Fatso for about a year. Love it, will never go back to a slimmer grip. Lots of folks start to make fun of it until I let them try it. They ALL are amazed at how "natural" their stroke feels.

As far as carrying it, I made a small add-on for my ClicGear, 9like the water bottle holder) works great.

Don't have the one mentioned, but I did try a huge Win grip on my putter and it had the opposite effect on me. I went back to a standard type grip. I felt disconnected with the putter.

I've used an oversize grip since 1996.  Back then....the "Tiger Shark" was the only one I could find and it wasn't as big as many of the oversize grips of today.   Whenever I buy a new putter, the first thing I do is have the grip that comes with the putter cut-off....and replaced before leave the store with it for the first time.

My current putter grip is a Winn Giant Pistol....

Big grips aren't for everyone....if they were,  every putter would come straight from the manufacturer with one already installed!!  LOL

.....but I love the oversize grips.......

I just put a Super Stroke Slim on my Ping Anser 5 and it feels great, I haven't played with it yet but I changed the way I grip the club and have more fingers on the grip and this really helps lock my wrists.

i have a winn jumbo lite grip and love it. At first, I had a hard time judging distance, but immediately, aim was spot on. Now distance is not an issue and ive never putted any better.

    • Day 34 (14 Dec 25) - Got outside for a few moments to work on bump and runs with the 4h (again using the exaggerated weight shift reminder of the left (lead) heel). Finding that it helps keep the downswing arc extended.

    • I am currently playing a Cobra Ltdx LS 9 degree driver and Cobra Ltdx LS FW3. Both with Tensei White stock stiff shafts and original weights of 12g (heel) and 3g (toe). My miss is usually a pull fade or sometimes a slice, swing is out to in. Driver swing speed about 112 mph. Grips are stock regular. Intended change: Driver: Switching to Tensei White x-flex one inch shorter which I suppose would be 44,5? Changing heel weight to 18g. Changing grip to Golf Pride Z-grip cord midsize. Change hosel setting to standard draw. FW3: Changing heel weight to 16g (apparently not available in FW weights, but supposed to be something called "internal weight" a club builder can add which fits between the weight and the screw?). Change grip to Golf Pride Z-grip cord midsize. Changing hosel setting to standard +1. The goal is to 1) get better grip since I tend so lose grip in warm and moist conditions with the current grips and 2) mitigate the misses to start more straight with less side spin. Also considering adding the Cobra Ltdx LS FW5 instead of my old Taylormade R9 and getting 14g heel and 6g toe weights with the same grip as the others and hosel setting standard +1.   All of the above is based on conversations with ChatGPT and, as everyone knows, it can come up with pretty much whatever but I spent a few hours asking about different perspectives etc and this was the recommendation. So, my question is basically, does it make any sense?   Thanks.
