When I was 14, my brother (10 years older) and his hot girlfriend carried me to see Loverboy. I hear one of their songs today, and can go back in my mind to a simpler time of Rock and Roll!

Not a live music fan but way back when a girlfriend dragged me along to a Bette Midler concert and I think Katy Sagal was one of the backup singers....the Harlettes.

Y'know it's been so long I'm not positive.

Cheap Trick opening for Foghat, I think.

Could've been Sammy Hagar opening for Aerosmith.

Both opening acts played better than the headliner.

Foghat was also the first and only time I got stoned,

Never touched a J, just breathed the air, man! :)

..Di makes nice pups....I'm gonna build a tele-style axe in my woodshop after I retire... shouldn't be too difficult, and I have some killer flamed and quilted maple in my rack, but I'll get a Stew-Mac or Warmouth neck... I have a couple friends who wind pups, so I'll get customs for in it... prolly something a lil milder than usual, but definately single coil....

Mine was the last Grateful Dead tour before Jerry died.  I was 13, sitting next to my buddy and his dad and step-mom.  They were decidedly NOT hippies, and I was sort of uncomfortable all night surrounded by people smoking joints and sitting in a cloud of pot smoke (it was at a basketball stadium, so giant stadium filling haze!) but sitting next to my oldest friend's parents who were friends with mine (who most definitely did NOT approve of smoking pot!).
