How often do you clean your clubs?

Think i will 'blast' my clubs with the hose that cleans flags/sidewalks,its mega powerfull and will get rid of all the dirt hidden in the grooves on the face of the club

I guess my home course is a fancy resort course then (it is a destination style resort course). I keep my clubs clean during play, so I always tell them I'm good when they come at me with the towel after a round, but I still give them 3 or 5 bucks, because they are also the starters, and will almost always get me out early if I just show up or have a late tee time.

haha, after reading this thread I cleaned my clubs last night.

I usually clean them every other round or so. I also use dishwasher soap and warm water, but I also use a magic eraser for some of the grass stains.

I've never actually heard of cleaning the grips before. I'll give that a try too next time around.

I clean my clubs after every round, except for my wedges. I just dry brush the grooves and leave 'em dirty. Grips get cleaned pretty often since some are Multi Compound Whiteouts.

I wipe them down as I play, but I give them a good cleaning after 3-5 rounds, including the grips.  I scrub them in warm, soapy water and dry them with a hand towel.  If my wife isn't around I'll just leave them on the kitchen counter to dry completely, otherwise I put them back in the bag and don't put the head covers on for several hours.

same here...but I lay mine out on the counter in our laundry room so the grips can dry.

I brush and towel them after shots on the course ...and wipe them down with those lemon scented lysol disposable sani-wipes after every round.

One recommendation. If you use a live kitten, he'll clean himself between shots and you won't ever have to wash the towel.

And it's best to use a live orphan; their tears work best when fresh. Bottled orphan tears are overpriced anyway, just bring the kid on the course with you and say he's your caddy. I don't even use my clubs anymore so I don't risk getting them dirty. I just simply show up, walk around with my bag, stand around the clubhouse for a few hours, and then head home. Once I reach my house I head straight to my basement, go into the locked hidden door, open up the dimly lit bullet-proof glass case and hoist up my clubs onto the 4 foot high resting place. Shut the glass door, set the alarms, and go watch Home Shopping Network.

i sit down in the living room after a round and clean all my clubs. my irons don't get a lot in the grooves while i play, but i am almost OCD with cleaning out my wedges after every shot. i should really clean my grips though, i don't think i've ever done it.

I do several levels of cleaning, after every shot a bronze brush and towel wipe, every two weeks a full wash from grip to tip and at the end of each month I clean both my clubs from tip to grip and shoes then armorall and change out any questionable soft spikes.
