Gmen update: I think the newbe Andre Brown is actually teaching Bradshaw how to have patience and let his O-line set up their blocks. He looked really good yesterday.

Big Blue dominated, Yankees won, and I shot a decent 81 on Sat...life is good.

RGIII needs to learn to run OUT OF BOUNDS!  He will last a whole lot longer.

Alex Smith is reported to have a sprained finger. Hope he gets better since we have the Giants coming in this Sunday.

Should be something all QB's are taught in training camp.  Some of these guys just don't know how to slide, Vick still can't do it right.

I'm hoping it's his right index . Should be a good matchup, although Big Blue's D has looked meh last two games. Too many injuries - they can't put pressure on the QB and can't stop the run.

You might be right. That Krackerjacks (I forgot his name) kid looked solid last night, arm and legs. And Alex Smith is only a couple years into his amazing rebirth...wa,wa,waaaaaaaa.

Kappernick (spelling?) looked great! Im not a niners fan but i was rooting them on last night due to fantasy issues. That kid looks like he is taking control of the team and leading them pretty well especially for a #2

Looked like one of the Manning brothers he did, the way he was slinging the pigskin - great accuracy. Plus he's fast. Had the Bears D on their heels the whole game...

Although i hate when brandon marshall gets double teamed... But looks like opposing teams may have found a solution to the Bears... Stop brandon marshall

It was only one game for Kaepernick.  Remember Matt Flynn threw 6 TDs last year in one game and he is on the bench.

You are right, it is one game, not a full season, although many folks out here believe that this was not a fluke, that he has had this capability all along. I believe that Alex Smith is not a very good QB, and just about any decent QB is going to look really good running the SF offense because it is built on running and play action. Heck the first play of the game was a beautiful play action pass and the Bears thinking SF was going to run it with a backup bought it hook line and sinker. The Bears defense was on their heals for the rest of the game. Kaepernick is going to be a decent QB, great, who knows, but I think he can easily run the SF offense. All this makes me think we should have tried harder to get Peyton. We would have won the Super Bowl.

With Kaep at QB, the offense definitely looked more dynamic. Alex Smith can't do too much on play action. The offense reminded me of Oregon's offense - seemed faster and was more spread out. I think I saw the play stats and it was pretty balanced on the ground and through the air. Either way, if Alex Smith becomes healthy, I still think Harbaugh will continue to put him as the starter.

    • I get kidney stones. So 100 oz of water every day. Some nights I drink 32oz between midnight and 6 Am. Which means I dont sleep much.
    • 46 (9 over) Short game and putts were awful!
    • 46+40 for an 86. I just need to play 9 holes on the range before each round. 🤣🤣🤣
    • I don’t measure my intake either. I generally have a black coffee, a bottle of soda, some sweet tea at home, and anything in between is water. An ice cold bottle of water is one of my favorite things. It feels like an immediate refresher for my body. I’ll admit that I need to drink a little more though.
    • For such a nice membership, there have been some bad incidents in the past few years.  We had someone voted out a couple of years ago over something he did and he harassed the board members for three months until he moved out of the area.   Generally they’ve tried to do things like tournament handicaps and identify certain people who they know should be lower and adjust it somehow.  I can understand not wanting to go thru something like the guy who was voted out again i emailed the pro who forwarded it to the handicap committee.  They are going to see what can be done.  I walked someone thru what happened and they are going to nudge him to post the score from the match and see what he does.  Since he didn’t put anything in the electronic scoring past 13, based on how he played 14 and 15 plus having to take bogey on 16-18 for after he left, he should post 83.  We’ll see if it’s even higher,   Since he was really even thru 13, then doubled 14 and parred 15 my guess is he really shot 75 being generous and giving him 2 pars and a bogey on the three holes he didn’t play.    i shot 88, getting 16 shots for my course handicap which is net even and I lost on 13.  We do brackets where handicaps should be within 4-5 of each other.  Most matches only have 1-2 shots as a difference between players  neither of us posted the score yet.  There was something in the match play rules about whether or not to post your score.  I couldn’t remember if we were supposed to or not.  I don’t think he was going to post that, because even with his inflated score it would be the lowest score in his recent 20. Lucky I didn’t because they want to see what he does post and they don’t want me posting so he can try to calibrate his score.
