Had the vdr on my driver for couple months, nice grip but found it better for iron/wedge play. If u want vibration dampening check out the Winn excell grip, its super soft, I have them on my woods, that's about as soft as u can get without wrapping it in a diaper.

I have them on all my irons.  No complaints but nothing spectacularly different than a dozen other grips out there.  I think they are very good grips and very similar to the Tour Velvet.  Can't say how well they wear yet.  -  Nevin

Do you prefer cord or non-cord grips?  I imagine if you've used non-cords they probably are a safe bet.  I'm curious as well, considering my old dd2's are pretty much dead and i've been trying to figure out which direction to go [toss up between crosslines or one of the newer GP models]

VDR's have three depths of surface texture, so they good for wet weather. I prefer GP tour velvet cord grips.

I have enjoyed the VDR's all of last season, good durable grip that does well in the summer with sweat as well as rain. I will be moving on to Tour Velvets this year, just to change things up.
