FYI... I noticed on my iPhone that the symbol that shows an unread thread is no longer working.  Instead of a small crimson circle - it is now just a white box or square outlined in black.  The challenge is every thread - no matter if you have read them or not are using the white box (black line).  So now you cannot tell if you have read the thread or not.

It's strange because this issue just popped up this week when reading the mobile site on my iPhone... I've never had this issue before.

Same here. If you look REALLY hard you can see that the unread ones have a darker outline but I gotta keep my glasses pretty clean to see it! Not sure if its an iPhone issue or site.

Mine looks ok. Red circle for unread and unposted, white circle for read and unposted, red star for unread but posted and white star for read and posted.

Any chance you can get this issue in front of Huddler or whomever the company is that runs the site?

Problem solved. I logged out. Cleared my Safari browser history. And logged back in. Thanks for the suggestion.

Wish I knew how to do that b4_blushing.gif

Scoll down to the bottom of the page on your phone. And 'sign out' of TST. This will log you out of the site. Then go to the bottom of the page in Safari browser and there is a ribbon or footer with five icons ((1.) back, (2.) forward, (3.) bookmark page/arrow, (4.) bookmarks, (5.) open new window). Select the bookmarks icon - which is the fourth icon (2nd from the right) and it looks like a book that is opened. That will open a list of bookmarks/directories. Select the 'History' folder or link - and then select the 'Clear' button at the bottom. This will clear your browser cache. Once you do that... Go back to TST and log-in.

Might be a "me" problem but thought I'd ask anyway. When I try to log in on my iPad it goes to a white screen with "disallowed character strokes" or something to that effect. Website works fine if I browse as a guest, but if I try to log in, it does that. Any ideas??

I think it's you. Restart and try again?

Just want to say thanks. I use this mobile site on my iPhone every day and I find it to be one of the best I've seen. There is an industry forum that I am on but I don't frequent it near as much as I would because it is basically unusable on my phone. Thanks again,

Respectfully,

    • Bryson got hit with a 2 shot penalty, after the round, for improving his lie on hole 5.  Here is a post on X, showing how he stepped on high grass when he was looking down his target line.  When they cut to the side shot, you can see how close he was behind the ball.  I think the R&A probably made the correct decision. You just have to be really careful when you are walking in the high grass, around the ball and where you are to make a swing.

    • Day 27 (17 July 26) - Normally an 18 hole day, but due to commitments abbreviated the round to 9 holes (played the back nine at home course).  Had a solid session where even the worst miss (tee shot off 18) was fully playable.  Shot a solid 39 (6pars, 3bogies) - not dbls, no three putts - just boring golf.
    • Overall, well said. People have to be very careful in trying to describe very complex problem in simple terms. In this case, it is a clear fundamental misunderstanding of Newton's 1st and 3rd laws.  To clarify more on the misinterpretation of Newton's 1st law. The exact interpretation of Newton's 1st Law....  "Every body continues in its state of rest, or of uniform motion in a straight line, unless it is compelled to change that state by forces impressed upon it" yea, a body will stay motionless unless a force acts upon it. An object will stay on its path of motion unless a force acts upon it.  I get it, complex physics problems are difficult. There is a lot of simplification done in most physics class when it is taught. A classic problem uses a frictionless surface. Projectile motion excludes drag and wind direction. Collisions are usually elastic. The golf swing is not a simple physics problem.  Yea, I think they got caught up the data on the graphs and are not truly understanding cause and effect.  If the golfer isn't first pushing into the ground, then the ground isn't going to push back.  The internal forces of the body create the motion, not the external forces from the ground. The ground isn't like what Psy uses to start his concert. 🤣 You probably need to be connected to the ground and have those GRF to help the body produce the motion you want. Your body has to move in the right way to produce the GRF which helps you move the body in the way you want. Body motion precedes the GRF.
