Note:  This is not an indictment of the club itself ... just the commercial.  For all I know, the club could be awesome.  (I doubt it, but I wouldn't know ... never hit it)

Anybody else watch these infomercials on TGC late at night?  They are very entertaining!  Not so much the club itself but a couple of the "selling" points.

First, he claims that the driver zero CC's!  Zero.  Funny, because it looks like there is actually something connected to the end of the shaft.

Second, he mentions E=MC2 somewhere in there in regards to power.  Nevermind the fact that something with zero CC's would have no mass, thus no energy.  I'm pretty sure he would have been better off citing F=MA.

Anywho's, if you can't sleep at night and are bored ... it's a fun commercial.

Powwwwwwwww!

I had to YouTube it just to see how horrible it is... I love the voice over work... it sounds like the voice you would hear for a Monster Truck show or something like that.

The Hammer is a joke.  Always has been.  From the whole, "zero cc" claim, to the diamond-shaped shaft to the distance claims.  I too find myself watching the infomerical late at night simply because its so funny and so poorly done.

Whats in my :sunmountain: C-130 cart bag?

I tried one just a few days ago at a local golf store. It is a strange club with part of the shaft flat and the see thru head. It made a sound like a gun shot when you hit the ball really square. I think you have to have a fast massive swing for it to make much difference in distance. Not a club I want in my bag.

In my  bag:

Driver, Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 9.5 stiff

3, 5 woods: Callaway Diablo Edge Tour 15,18 degrees Stiff

2 hybrid: Callaway Diable Edge Tour 18 degrees R (out when the 5 wood is in)

3,6 hybrids: Callaway Diablo Edge 21 S and 30 degrees R

4,5 hybrids: Callaway Razr X HL 24 and 27 degrees Stiff

7-AW irons: Callaway Razr HL graphite R shafts

SW 54 Callaway X Series Jaws CC Slate Fujikura Graphite Stiff

Putter: Odessey White Ice 1 Blade Putter.

Ball...looking for any ball that hates water, sand, long grass, and getting lost in the woods.

I can't find any, so forced to use ones that seem to love all the above.

I think you just forgot to say POW when you swung it.

Hammer X Driver ~~ just got back from the diving range. I'm a believer. Works like a charm. Plan to hit the range 3 more times and then take it to the course. Easy to hit. Changes the trajectory. Lands on the fly just where I used to end and then rolls. Easy 40 more yards!!! Everyone should get one of these!!
