I've never hit the ceiling with a golf club in the house. I have, however, put a hole in a wall with a wedge and broke the light off a ceiling fan with a headless shaft. I think I'd prefer, in the future, to avoid repeating those experiences.

I broke an overhead light fixture at a resort when my follow through got away from me. Fortunately, I went out and found a matching replacement at Home Depot for $20 and no one was the wiser.

A while back my dad and I took my younger brothers to the range when we were all in town.  The middle brother, being the former football player of the family, naturally wanted to outmuscle his wimpier brothers.  He lost the club on the follow through and it hit the roof snapping the club in half...
