What in the world is that "Tour Bound" contraption?

It is a machine to help you feel the swing of a professional. I think the idea is pretty good, but I think it needs some serious technology improvements and price pressure to be something more people can use.

OK, I get that.  It's easy to look at a pro and try to copy what they are doing, yet have no real idea if you are doing it right.  Video helps with this a lot, but I can see how this might help even more.  Certainly it could help you feel things better.

Then again, all it could really do is put your club in the right position ... it doesn't look like it could stop you from manipulating your body into whatever goofy position you wanted to so it seems like its maybe just a fancy version of those big pvc circles I've seen haney (or whoever) using to get people to feel the correct planes.

Doesn't seem very viable, but I might just not understand it yet. :)

Interesting idea but all it does is put the club in position, not the body.  I don't know how much muscle memory it can really create.  When I saw it I just had to record it.

Im really excited for the new iLINE Lamkin is coming out with. I contacted  customer service and they shared a little more about them.. "The new iLINE is made out an advanced elastomer material that has the Crossline surface pattern.  These should be available in early March."

What is the retail price on the iLine grip?  Anyone know?

    • I’d go with the Titleist if you liked the look of the blades but were suffering with distance. They should be a little more forgiving than a full blade and still retain some workability. Also remember to consider the shafts each have as this will be a big contributor to how they feel. Clemsonfan is right though… get fit or spend a bit of time on a launch monitor 🤙
    • Day 28: 2026.01.30 Managed to make time for a few swings out back today. Need a proper bit of range time this weekend.
    • Day 30, 1/30.  Six minutes this morning hitting a few more range balls, indoors, off a mat, into the net.  Did this before leaving the house.

    • Hi All my New Year’s resolution was to start playing golf again. I’ve caught the bug and am really enjoying hitting balls at a couple of my local ranges.looking forward to getting back out on courses in the spring. Based in the UK and 38 years old, I’ve been playing since I was a kid. Best handicap I’ve held is 2 in my mid 20s. Over the past 10 years I’ve played once or twice a year, sometimes with friends or for work. Could shoot 4-5 over, but just as easily shoot 15-20 over. I’ve moved to South Wales and am very lucky to be near some world class links courses, which gives me even more motivation to get playing again! I will start looking for a local coach in my area when I have more time to invest, but I recalled scouring this forum a few years ago and finding some good tips and advice so wanted to give it a try to see if there were any glaring issues I could fix in the meantime!  A few swings below… one from 1st week Jan and one from today. I have fixed my P1 takeaway to my liking and am now working on what I see as pretty severe early extension & hip thrust. Also terrible hip rotation. I’d like confirmation that this is indeed a problem and and suggestions on a few good drills. Thanks for reading 🙂 I've been Playing Golf for: 30+ years My current handicap index or average score is: 10ish over My typical ball flight is: mid The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: push right with irons, hooks and push with driver!  Videos:
