Now that I think back, during the Tampa Bay tourney last year (didn't play this past year), Fowler was very cordial to everyone who approached him on tournament day.  (I don't get autographs anymore, but like to watch the fans and the players and see the interaction).

I've seen Beljan for the last two weeks and the guy is consistently good w/ fans. Hope he wins again.

My Picks:

Keegan Bradley for all the wierd moves.

Ricky Fowler for the circus clothes.

Ian Poulter for his wise-ass attitude.

Vijay Singh.  I followed him and Jesper Parnevik for about 6 holes of a practice round at Whistling Straits for the 2004 PGA and he was a royal ass to everyone, refusing to sign autographs, even to kids, and becoming very obviously annoyed with Parnevik for being a decent enough person to sign for everyone who asked him for one.

Phancy Phil Mickelson.  I just hate almost everything about him - his slighly effeminate voice, way of talking and mannerisms, his nonchalance about routinely gambling more than the average family earns in half a decade, his arrogance, his awkward attempts to be pleasant and personable, his choice of dress pants for athletic attire, etc.... I have absolutely no idea how so many average joe golf fans like this guy who very, very likely views average sorts of people rather contemptuously - attempting and often making risky going-for-broke shots shouldn't count for that much popularity.

In my bag: - Ping G20 driver, 10.5 deg. S flex - Ping G20 3W, 15 deg., S flex - Nickent 4dx 3H, 4H - Nike Slingshot 4-PW - Adams Tom Watson 52 deg. GW - Vokey 58 deg. SW -Ping Half Wack-E putter

Phil? I have to disagree, there is nothing I hate more than seeing a player in 2nd place lay up instead of going for it towards the end of a tournament. I think the go for broke attitude makes the sport more interesting.

Yeah, I'd like to defend Phil also. He's not my #1 favorite, but he always seems to make a noticeable effort to acknowledge fans. Even if privately he views regular folks contemptuously, (I doubt this, FWIW) He makes the effort to at least APPEAR friendly. And it is an effort, if you've never experienced how much a constant throng of 50-1000 people following your every move 4-5 days a week can be. Not boo-hooing for his rich ass, mind you, just pointomg out that this level of friendliness shown is much more than can be said for some guys mentioned above. Also, he's a big supporter if the military, and goes out of his way to voice this support when he sees military personnel on the course.

I agree 100% with those who don't like WATCHING Keegan. So fidgety!! But he seems like a really cool dude, so I don't root against him.

At the Heritage (Hilton Head, SC) I once witnessed Vijay scolding an official while holding a putter only inches from the guys face (waving the putter back and forth in the guys face).....guess the guy needed his job because no man should go through that humiliation in front of spectators to boot.

So you prefer the players wear clothes that 75-yr old men on the course wear?

What's wrong with the tattoos or the clothes? They can't hurt anybody. In fact, I really don't notice Fowler or anyone else's clothes very much anymore. And I don't notice tattoos either. Certainly while watching pro athletes, I'm too interested in thier performance to notice stuff like that.

The individuality is awesome. They are already a bunch of clones, so anything to set them apart is welcomed here.

Not a whole lot of positives to say about Charl Schwartzel. And Vijay is obvious. Also Robert Allenby is a whiner.

    • Day 23: weird day, and only had a little bit of time. Just did mirror work again, working on where the elbow is in the downswing
    • I flipped over to this tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone else watch? I picked it up during the golf relay event, but seeing these pros out having fun in alternative events was refreshing and entertaining. I’m sure it will be on in reruns in the next week or so, so I won’t spoil the outcome. Im curious what others thought of it. I’m recording it’s later airing to see the beginning.
    • Day 443 - 2025-12-17 Made a few swings in testing some things out at another academy. Might pop up on someone else's podcast in a few weeks.
    • Day 37 (17 Dec 25) - nine hole round with my good friend.  We got paired up with a couple of the men’s group regulars as part of their shootout.  Started off with a wonderful quad bogie and then a dbl on three to be six over thru three holes.  Game went 180° over the next five as I shot one under (including a chip in birdie on hole six and four up and down 1 putt pars) for a net finish of five over. What could have been a really tough nine became a solid finish due to staying in the moment and not checking out.  Great day in course management and keeping perspective .
    • Day 127 12-17 Backswing and flow practice. Took advantage of the 60 degeee weather(it was 20 degrees Sunday)
