I can't believe that I am being forced to cheer for a franchise that I truly hate. The Giants. My hatred for the Pats just runs so much deeper. As much as I would like to see someone shut up the old 72 Dolphins, I would rather it not be this team. They are a bunch of arrogant asses led by the two biggest asses of all in Brady and Belicheck.

Living in Michigan I have to hear all the U of M fans who are now Patriot fans because of Brady. The question I always ask is what if Brady had played for USC or Ohio State? Would they cheer for the Pats then? I think not. My favorite is the UM slap ass that says "I knew comming out of college that Brady would be a star." I'm sure everyone in the NFL that passed on him for the first 5+ rounds also knew. If Brady had been drafted in the 5th round by the Lions, he likely would be out of football by now, or at best a backup somewhere. He is a great player, no question, but he is also in the perfect situation.

As much as I hate to say it. Go Giants.

but the record was 16 games in a row... pats already won 18 and going on 19.... i hate the pats so i hope it sticks at 18... i'm not a Giant's fan but GO G-Men! Take out Brady's legs in the first quarter....

I would love to see the Giants pull of the upset and beat New England but my head is telling me that the Patriots are going to complete their perfect season of 19-0 which for personal reasons would not be ideal (Bragging rights etc)

It hasn't been done. The games get tougher. You can't just chop off the tougher games and call it even. The Steelers also won 16 in a row one year, after all (the year they went 15-1 - they lost their first game of the year when, fortunately, Tommy Maddox had to be replaced late in the third by Ben Roethlisberger. Then they beat the Jets in the first playoff game). That doesn't count either just because it was 16-0.

But yeah, 18-1 sounds good.

Pats barely survived several games, should have lost to Ravens, they have not been dominant in the playoffs, they don't deserve to be seen as the greatest team ever, so I hope they don't go undefeated. Plus they cheated.
