Where?

We can do it where were were thinking before(can't remember exactly).  We can do it at my course as well.   I can cover the carts.  You guys would just have to pay for your rounds which will probably be $40 or so.

I will check with the club on Monday and make sure that we can get 2-3 groups out on that Saturday.  We can page the others then and see who all can make it.

The place we were going to go before was Brighton Dale Golf Links in Kenosha County. http://www.golfbrightondale.com/

It doesn't need to be there, we only picked that cause the people that were coming were all in SE Wis. Cost would be approx $50 for 18 and a cart there.

I am good with that.  Why don't we do that if it is more convenient for those coming from the SE?  That looks like a fun course as well.

@Jakester23 if you want to play Watertown CC, just pick a date PM me, and I will have you out there.  Preferably a weekday(probably cheaper for you as well), but anything is fine.  We will get out.

Tagging onto this thread to get updates. Both those are about 55-60 miles from home for me so they might be workable depending upon family functions (automatic over-ride rule).

Are power carts required or is walking with a push cart an option at either course?

The last course I played on was Hawthorne Hills up near me between Saukville and Fredonia.

Same here.  I will just record it and I mainly care about watching Sunday anyway. @sigfan2340 and @treebound , does it matter much to you guys?

Don't matter to me and the date is fine. Walking is ok but for 18 they prefer you take a cart if they are busy for pace of play. I will see if we can get off on the Blue Spruce course, little shorter but some better looking holes and some killer Par 5's. Plus the 18 finishing hole is a dog leg left around the pond..... If we have West-SW wind, you can try to drive the green.

Sounds like fun, let's set it up.

I'll mark it on my calender, but I can't commit until the date is closer. My wife is talking vacation plans with some friends, which might be anytime between July 4th to September. But I'm tentatively adding this to my calender.

    • Attempting to lift. Any better?
    • Day 82: mirror work again tonight. Working on the same shoulder down and roll and twist stuff. Going on vacation tomorrow and putting the clubs down, so new streak starts in about 10 days!
    • Day 44, June 17.  Today was some preliminary stretching, exploring what I'll want to set up as a regular routine (both while on vacation without clubs and when I'm back) (aside: this is part of an upcoming goal to stretch daily in a meaningful way, but I don't plan to count it as practice on days that I can meaningfully practice with a club)
    • Having a rough week. Went to the Dr. because I was really weak and could hardly swing my driver.  I take Propranolol 20 mg tablets twice a day. Seems like the Propranolol was driving my pulse down (low 50's).  So we cut the dosage in half and I started taking my blood pressure. It was a little high but pulse came up.   Then yesterday I raised it to 15 mg tab by taking it 3 times a day. Blood pressure 127 / 77 Pulse 75.  Heading out tomorrow morning for 18 holes.    I have my driver set at 10.5* but seem to have my swing speed to low and I can't get the lift on the ball I need.  I have not played this week in hopes I will have the strength to raise my swing speed. I may have to raise my loft to 12* . (I will take my driver wrench) tomorrow. (This Parkinson's is a pain in the butt.)  Will give you a report when I get back.    Retired Old Man, Terry
    • You still got to lift your arms. You basically just roll your wrist over in the 1st half of the backswing.
