Just got one from Amazon but it is too easy.  Anyone really like a particular model?

I got some green outdoor patio carpet at menards for $30 or so when I did mine. Works great.

Thanks, I'll go check Home Depot and Lowes (no Menards here).

There are two types, one that looks like it has plastic fibers and one that has more carpet looking fibers. I thought the carpet style one was better and it rolls very nice.

I've been using the SKLZ Accelerator that I got through Amazon as well.  Quite happy with it really, though I wasn't thrilled to discover my upstairs hall has a distinct break to the left.  Not the fault of the putting pad though, and practicing to a break is okay once you accept it.

I got the Puttist several months ago, it's not a true putting green but I use it quite a bit and I am pretty satisfied with my putting numbers.  The great thing about it is that you can hit up to 45 foot putts on it without having 45 feet of space/putting green!

On the cheap BirdieBall. Very realistic for a roll of foam, especially if it's the double thick one. I have two 4x8 in my basement. It's big enough to chip on.

I bought a Birdieball putting green. It's not a green, but instead it's a green piece of what looks like packing foam. I was completely underwhelmed by this cheap foam product.

I've seen some of the other ratings. Don't know what they're thinking, but these putting foam surfaces look like cheap green packing foam. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
