I've never seen a shaft break in two place at the same time like the pictures you attached.   Why don't you just buy a replacement shaft rather than throw the entire driver away?

I always remove the head from shaft and use a club stuffer in my Ogio travel bag. It was only a bit more than 2 years old. $425 wasted. Going to Golftown next week but an email from Ping said tough luck. I'll never buy Ping again if I don't get some remedy.

Buy a new shaft.

I hardly think it's a PING issue/fault.

And… @Robert50, replying to the emails you get doesn't post in the thread.

Recently bought G series driver used about 4 rounds and shaft broke around midway up. Returned to retailer, they said called Ping and were  told would not be Warrantied and I would have to purchase new shaft. I call and spoke to a Representative who I must say was very helpful, and resolved problem in a matter of minutes. Love new clubs and thank you Ping for being so pleasant to work with.

Why was it not warrantied?  Seems like breaking after 4 rounds of use would indicate it wasn't fit for purpose.

I bought a Tommy Armour? driver a few years ago based on really hitting it great indoors in the shop.

Took it to the range and piped it down the middle twice then on the third shot it made a funny noise and the ball died out in its flight about 225 out.  I looked down and the clubhead had cracks running all along the crown out to the toe.

Now I only use good clubs.

Never had a problem with my graphite shafted Pings.

I'm sure even the best manufacturers can have defects with equipment, was just surprised when the store I purchased from said Ping would not warranty. Thankfully I made the call to manufacture, guess I was just letting people know do your homework. Love the clubs, can't believe how much yardage they have added all the way around.
