Nice! I'm usually there in the afternoon. If you don't mind me asking....which face control drills are you doing

I think the same ones the guys here use for Key #5.  Though I found mine at a different source.  I'll try to find a link here and post it.

- Stick an alignment rod out 15 feet or so (I think Bay 2 or 3 has a foam tube standing out there...) - you could also just use the stripes on the black wall.

- Lay down the other alignment rod to align your feet for a shot hitting the ball straight through that upright rod

- Without changing my feet position (thus the other rod) I then practice hitting right of the stick, left of the stick, and then straight at the stick.

I also will try to do that and also hit shots that bend the shot back to center while hitting right, left, and straight.

(YMMV, but for me, I set up with the face angle that does that (a little open for right, a little closed for left, and square for straight). so mostly all my shots are just returning the club face to whatever I set up with.  I adjust my path for the shaping shots accordingly)

PS - here it is - go to Key 5 and it's one of the 'start lines' vids.  IMO - the guys here are the real deal.  Good drills and concepts.  My opinion.

Good to hear it works out for you.  It's a fun way to practice and build some confidence.  If you can consistently hit your start lines, you can go out and play some really good golf.

thanks, Mike, but my real issue is just translating that from the practice to the course.  A mental reset is needed for that.  Once it happens, I believe I will see a pretty significant step improvement.
