Nice dog braddah. I never had a boxer, but they look like a gas to own. Those and either Border Collies or Australian Shepherds would be my next dog if I found enough energy to care for them properly.

We RV a lot, and sometime we stay in some pretty out of the way places. Security is of some concern. We have a couple of dogs who help out with security just because of their size. Mik is a 6 year old American Bull Dog. He gets a bad rap because folks think he is a Pit Bull. Our other dog, Moose is 5 years old, and is  mix breed Collie/St Bernard. They just received their yearly vaccinations last week. The both tipped the Vet's scales at 122 lbs each. They are our buddies, and we would be lost with out them. Since we spend so much time in the desert southwest, they are accustomed to wild animals, and reptiles. These guys grew up together, since Moose was a year old. With their size, when they get to playing with each other, we just get out of their way.

I've got a 9 month old English Bulldog named Bacon! He's about as close to a kid as I want for now.  He's about a expensive as one it seems!  bulldogs are predisposed to a lot of health problems and he's already had his fair share, and they're not cheap to get taken care of.

I have two old Shiba Inu's that have been blind a decade or so. Like family but dang they have been expensive. After they are gone I am done with pets for good.
