I'm going to be watching the final round live all afternoon.

Let's use this thread to chat about it, live, while it's happening.

I'd love to see Michelle pull it out. I think that Lexi will hit some loose shots today, and it can cost her. But I still can't predict a winner. I do hope Michelle is a teeny bit more aggressive with her putts today. She left many just short yesterday, and they'd have had a chance to go in. I'm not saying she can run them five feet past, but get them to the hole at least.

I think one of the two of them have about an 85% chance of winning.

I'd rather watch the ladies today then the fellas but I don't think I'm going to be able to pick it up over here in Kuwait. We shall see if I can locate an internet feed that is showin it. I think it's great that the ladies have a compelling final day that is more compelling than the men for a change.

Sure, I'll watch live and participate in the thread.

I just hope Michelle or Lexi wins. Fingers crossed we get a good duel.

It seems like with Michelle it'll come down to her putter. Usually I don't make that generalization about a pro, but with her, it's probably a true statement. Not that her full swing is perfect or anything, but if I had to bet on what would fall apart for her today, it'd be missing must make par putts within 6 feet, or squandering makable birdie chances.

Yea I kind of fear for her left wrist in the long term. But Tiger used to swing his wedges that way too IIRC, when he was young.

Still, yea... you'd think eventually she'd have to shallow that out.

Does anyone else kind of like Terry Gannon? Maybe I'm forever biased because he was on that '83 Wolfpack team, but he does genuinely seem far less annoying than, for example, the likes of Tom Abbott. Although, I guess anyone would.

32 yard difference between their second shots. Michelle has a PW in though so it's not like she's hitting 6I while Lexi gets to hit a 9I or something. 25 feet.

Lexi from 103 now. Big divot as you've come to expect. Half as far away as Michelle.

I used to like Tom Abbott, but he just seems cheesier now. Could be me, of course.

      Ok, I'm trying to find a feel to hit a consistent ball flight (irons).  My current predicament.  1. I try to do the arms down stuff better, with the club feeling like it is way behind me more. It's just a cluster of results. Most of the time, I can't get any speed on the swing. If I get my arms down faster, I just throw them out.  2. I focus all my attention on turning better. Pushing off with my left leg and getting my right side through better. On the DTL view, this doesn't produce anywhere close where the hands and club should be. The result is usually ball first contact, lower ball flight, more centered contact.  At this point, I am going with option 2. Stop thinking about what the hands do. Just make a shorter backswing, keep it wide, turn through. Somehow, the club head finds the ball. My focus is so much on just making sure I turn, it's like, "Oh, that contact was better.... Oh, that bell flight looks playable." If not, I will just be practicing my entire summer.

      Nope, they spent too much money. They are in over 28 million on the football roster and related NIL compensation at this point. Boosters associated with any Texas college football team has HUGE sway. The AD is between a rock and a hard place. They put a lot of money into Sorsby, at the chance of winning a NC this year. If you move on, you basically wasted a lot.  This is why Ohio State wants 3 QB's they feel can start. That is why the backups the past 5 years at some point transfer. Texas Tech has no backup near the quality of Sorsby. If they move on, they are screwed for 2026.
