He has a torn labrum?!!!

I had a torn and detached labrum, had no problem playing golf. Couldn't lift weights but I could swing a club.

I pronounce it YOST. There is an 87% chance this is wrong.

You- st - is how its pronounced for us Joostists

The South Africans (of Dutch origin) have rugby players with the same name and that's how they pronounce. But to heretics like Chris, it's Mr Joost until such time as he converts

Someone else said it yesterday, but it bears repeating. This featured group streaming is superb. Every shot. Every reaction. Not cutting away to other groups. You can get totally immersed in their round of golf which really brings you in as a spectator. I'd love to see this for the other majors.

The masters had it really good as well. They had 2 featured groups.

100% agree!

Honestly I only watch the Majors online now. I love the Master's online broadcast. I just sit it on Amen Corner, or a feature group if someone I like is shown.

The PGA Championship has great online coverage this year.

Isn't it almost like you are walking alongside the group? The proverbial fly on the wall? This is totally awesome.

It's raining, and yet these balls missing the fairways are sitting up on a tee. The setup is an absolute joke.

Well it is the PGA Championship. It isn't the US Open. The PGA is supposed to be scores galore.

Well, I'm off to play some golf myself. Friday evening is training night for me. Hope to see some nice scores when I come back.

Joost rhymes with toast.

The more I practise, the luckier I hope to get.

Rory coming up short on a lot of shots...struggling a bit on the back 9. Rain looks to be playing a role in the ball's carry.

I wonder if there is a general rule of thumb for that?

Three balls in the bunker, looks to be playing cart golf without the carts!

Hit 'em straight. My tee time is 3pm.

    • They sure do. 158 with an 8 iron is on the high end for me
    • Went back to controlling my knees. That part was getting a bit sloppy when I worked on my backswing. Right hip didn't slide or gain internal rotation. I would just rotate back and around and the left knee would be in a bad spot. Really focusing now on keeping my left knee very stable and straighter in the backswing. I can't go back to the old pattern of overturning the hips. I was returning to my old pattern to time my downswing. Turn forever.  Left knee controls both knees and hips, acting as an anchor. Feel like it straightens a bit.   Hinge sooner and faster. Not in a way that sends the hands out and flips the club over. I still noticed when the hands get to A2.5, the hands would want to flip over and flatten the club out a ton.  Still trying to figure out how to roll the forearms a bit open and not just roll the club inside a ton.  Figure out the timing to get the hands down. Still getting a bit of right elbow collapsing in the downswing because the arms are too high when I turn. Everything is happening sooner now. If the hips are controlled, the backswing is shortened. Because it is shortened I don't know when to get the hands down and I just turn because the downswing is a go.  Very slow (50%) swings are decent.
    • Distances look fine, no?
    • Day 207-12 Wider backswing and arm reconnecting in downswing. Did a much better job with proper wrist movements through downswing today.
    • Trackman place today. I broke my tripod so could only film by hand the video the venue’s cameras generated. This is an 8 iron. Amazing how odd this feels relative to how it looks. Not similar!
