Guess you guys don't have any daughters

There are ways to make a sleeveless red polo and skorts sexier-And that will get you bigger tips. Anyone saying differently has apparently never met many regular men.

I TOO tip for service but Im in the minority-many Guys like to see skin.-That might depress all of you but its the truth.

As I used to tell my female students, "All boys are pigs . . . a few of them will outgrow it when they become men."

But then again, what the hell do I know?

What does that have to do with cart-girls?

How is it their responsibility to provide "skin"? for lecherous men to ogle at?

They should be covering up to protect themselves from the sun.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.

Didnt say it was her responsibility-Just that many men tip more when a young woman is dressed sexy. Again I dont-I have three daughters myself-But To deny that is to deny reality.[quote name="Shorty" url="/t/76414/future-cart-girl-any-advice/36#post_1037630"]What does that have to do with cart-girls? 1. As stated before, she is working at a private club with uniforms.

2. Lots of private clubs had a no tipping policy. These clubs usually pay above average wages and each of the service staff is allocated a % of the tip that is collected from the members at a set annual basis.

I can't afford the beer cart goodies, it's like trying to buy the last loaf of bread or bottle of water after the apocalypse.

My only suggestion is to not come around too often.  I've had cart girls come around what seemed like every 3 holes and it annoyed the hell out of me, 1 solicitation per 9 is about all I have the patience for.

    • The Golfing Machine calls a shorter full swing motion “pitching” IIRC but I don’t think that’s what was going on here. Did you get video or anything? Launch monitor data?
    • ^ right here. A short game pitching motion is not the same as a full swing in feel nor intent. It’s just not a mini-swing at all. Now if the instructor said to make slow full swings with a 6i and try to hit them only 100 yards, that would be more in line with what I view full swing instruction to be.
    • How does he fit for clubs with that setup?  I get this to an extent, but plenty of players have slightly different patterns with different clubs throughout their bag, but using that logic why not start with 3 foot putts or 5yd chip shots? I have quite different feels for a 20-40yd pitch shot than I do for a 140yd shot. Loft presentation at setup and impact, ground contact, weight transfer (or lackthereof), etc are all different on a 20-40yd shot vs a full iron shot.  If you enjoyed the lesson and found value in it that's great, personally I'd be a bit annoyed if I went in and wanted to work on full swing stuff and this guy has me doing 20-40yd pitch shots for an hour with my lob wedge.
