There are 3 secrets.

1. Swing fast.

2. Hit the ball on the sweet spot.

3. Make it go where you want it to go.

Easy peasy lemon squeezey.

BTW it's number 3 that Tiger lost.

Damn! Azinger's been lying to me, again!

“That’s physically. There’s a mental side" Mr. Azinger says. I suppose the third might be the correct impact position, and/or control of the club head.  Mr. Azinger not sharing his third idea (secret) seems to me to be self serving.

I have a standing rule when listening, or reading about golf. If the word "secret" is a part of the title, or in the body of the of the article/conversation , it best to stay away from it, and/or the author.

I am all for timing, rhythm, and control in the golf swing. Those are my three fundamentals. I have a fourth, but it's a secret......Ah well, what the heck. It's not a secret because I am quite sure it has been discussed before, some where.  My fourth is, as I am starting my back swing, and during my down swing into the back of the ball, I am always seeing a mental picture of the ball flying to my intended target.

Azinger? He's got the secret to hitting ugly, low pull-cuts? No gusta.

    • Can be out and up a little more. Not quite over-done yet.
    • Down the line and face on from today. Still feeling like I’m sticking the club into a hole in the ceiling above my right shoulder and then big loop inside to start downswing. That’s how it feels. Not how it looks though! Gotta keep working on this for a bit but I see a lot of progress. 😁
    • Day 5 (13 Mar 26) - Friday shootout cancelled- made it a practice round working from mixed tees. Plenty of up and down work around greens.  Best was a hole out birdie on the par 3 #5 hole - nice pitch and roll w/Pw from about 10yds off the green - dead center flagstick drop.  Much of round was focused on getting solid weight shift into lead foot.
    • Day 208 3-13 Worked on wrist arching and flow. First time hitting reall balls at a range in months. It was nice to see ball flight. Still not sure it beats my backyard practice station.
    • Three hole match - microphones on in the cart. It's fascinating listening to them talk about their shots and how they play them. I'm not normally a huge fan of the TM videos - they seem forced to me - but this one doesn't. It's also fun seeing their competitiveness over what on the face of it is a fairly meaningless 3 holes, but they can't help themselves.
