Key #3, Flat Left Wrist? Nobody teaches that ;-) He also spelled "piece" wrong, wrist supination and flexion are two different motions, and 12 minutes is way too long for an instructional video that has no audio commentary :-)

Yea it is pretty long I was more interested in the comparison of the baseball impact zone and the golf impact zone.

You never know. For the right person, this might be video that gets them to the next level. I wouldn't discredit any golf instruction. I might not agree with it, or understand it, but I'd never discredit it.

As for the comparison to the base ball swing, when I was in college our baseball coach did not want us swinging a golf club. He told us that even thought the swings were similar, if we played much golf, our baseball swing would tend to have us swinging below the ball at anything above our knees.  He also went on to say the only good thing the golf swing had in relation to baseball, was that it would be easier to hit low, out side pitches when using a bat.

Couldn't tell you. I quit playing baseball when I was 11. My head moved around too much in my swing and it made it hard to make consistent contact. Was great when I timed it well, but wasn't fun when I didn't hit well. Just like golf :-D

    • Wow, largest ever 36-hole lead at the Masters. Seems good. I don't really have much to add, but I'm having a great time nursing a cold by watching this tournament.  I doubt Rory fumbles this one, but you never know. As a fan, I hope he can close this out with two rounds to go.  I saw a funny comment somewhere where someone said Bryson should try to 3D print himself a green jacket.
    • Day 234 4-10 Blending hip/chest rotation backswing work and wrist arch in downswing. Pause at the top and slower swing. Recorded and hit foam balls.
    • Day 2, April 10 2026.  After watching today's excellent Masters broadcast, I have hit 18 balls, one at a time, each after doing the pelvis limiting drill.
    • Day 33 (10 Apr 26) - Played in the club Friday shootout with a slight twist as the course was setup for tomorrow’s local “Masters” one day tournament.  The pins were in some slippery places and the greens firm and bouncy.  Overall made for staying the process all the more important especially on the greens.
    • Rory up by six - makes me wonder if the powers that be will adjust Augusta’s moving day setup to be uber tough or uber getable to get a few closer.
