True, bad choice of words! I do not dislike her because she does seem to know what she is talking about. I dislike her accent to the point of not be able to understand her. so why watch her?

Holley by all means was a guy thing because she looked hot as a bimbo!

I think Holly found her niche, but wanted more exposure

Well, not that kind of exposure ... but she wanted a bigger stage.

That stage, at the moment, appears too big for her.

I have to be really bored to watch Morning Drive. Mundane at best and they do the same things over and over. I really don't want to watch them toss friendly jibes and listen to Charlie Rymer talk about how pros are going to play a hole on the sim only to hit a poor shot and then hit a mulligan. And nobody should want to watch Damon Hack swing a golf club.

Agree ... they are done. Stick a fork in them.

Honestly I don't watch much GC period. It has to be a tournament or something to get me there. The only exception is when I am riding my stationary bike in the AM. Sometimes there is nothing else better on. But heck even an episode of Golden Girls or Andy Griffith is better than MD.

MD lost it's way after Holly left, not that it was great when Holly was there.   They seem unsure what they want it to be at this point, but the few times I've watched it recently it felt like The View for golf.

This show is terrible.  Nothing can rescue it, save for a complete gutting of the cast and much of the format.  My previous thoughts when it was announced that Holly Sonders was leaving:

Quote: Aguirre

I don't know think the show will miss her, because the show is so incredibly awful that it's a wonder this turd is still on the air.

Let's start with the set.  This was what they promoted as a big studio updrade?  It looks like the waiting room in a maternity ward.  All it's missing is a few People magazines on the coffee table.

Gary Williams is pretty decent, IMO, but his voice sounds like he's constantly trying to give birth to a juvenile alligator from his anus.  Maybe a slightly more realistic description is that he sounds as if he's imitating a person yelling by not yelling.  It can be so off putting that I just have to turn the station.

Hey, Charlie Rymer, how about a few more jokes about how much awful food you eat in between banal commentary?  Because I think we really need more jokes about food.  I mean, 2000 per year isn't nearly enough.

Damon Hack is about as interesting as a glass of unsweetened ice tea with about three ice cubes served in a KMart Martha Stewart collection water glass.  He's the kind of commentator that says things like, "I think Tiger could win a major this year.  But he has to be healthy.  So I think he has a chance, because he's Tiger Woods."  I remember I was in Martin's in Myrtle Beach and I saw a mannequin that looked exactly like Damon Hack wearing a golf shirt, and then I realized it was Damon Hack

I don't think the show suffered due to Holly leaving it's just a bad show She was one of the worst to watch always standing sideways to the camera poking out her fake boobs. I never understood the attraction she looks like a drag queen to me. Not that there is anything wrong with that. I tended bar at mix crowd bar back in the day that hosted drag shows. Some of those guys were Richard Pryor in his prime hilarious but it was evident their look was supposed to be cartoonish. She just looked weird with the fake lashes, pancake makeup and bodywork.

To each his own, but she probably cured more ED in golf than Viagra.

Regardless a morning show combining GMA and radio zoo type commentary needs to be pretty strong to survive. They can't put enough T&A; or affable buffoons on there to make it interesting because it's vapid at best. I love golf but a ten minute round table about various golf topics with participants that can't break 80 is no better than listening to people recall their rounds in the bar and grill. I don't mind insight from people like Annika or DiMarco but the regulars are blah.

    • Day 22: Hit balls with 7-iron using mevo+ to track dispersion. Was out for a long time after work; 86 balls but the first 50+ were 50% swings focusing on top of backswing feel and then just hitting the ball as a psychic reward. Finished with 20 balls close to full speed. Pretty happy with dispersion and also no horrendous misses. I’m chunking my priority piece out into two separate feels, first and more important is the position/balance at top of backswing which is what I was working on. Once I have that engrained I’ll move to transition part.
    • FWIW I never really had issues with the previous generation of Snells. But… I'm not sure I played them a ton, either.
    • I know Dean Snell designed the original Pro V along with a couple of other brands tour balls.  How exactly does the Snell ball have problems.  Did he change something in the design or is a manufacturing error since he cannot afford the unlimited R&D budgets of the big manufacturers to iron out flaws
    • I've played the Tour in both white and yellow.  They play well and seem to hold up pretty good even when running into trees or cart paths.  Right now, I've been trying them against the Bridgestone Tour B RX ball and I really like both.  The Snell 3.0 looks to be a great update to the issues Snell was running into with the previous generation.
