Loving the look of that Motion model!  Looks like it might be a good compromise between the Tours and the Protos.  I wish they were going to have a Sensei style offering as well.  Those were so fantastic on hot, dry days.

Does anyone know if the sizing is going back to pre-2014 fit?  My only pair of shoes from 2014 were the Lyt Dry and they were very tight compared to previous years.  Nobody around me sells Trues and I'd hate to have to go through international shipping back and forth because they don't fit.

The Sensei was great, I agree. Loved those shoes.

The fit is 2013 style. 2014 was half to slightly more than half a size smaller.

Straight from TRUE at the PGA Show. @mvmac can attest. He also has a pair, and I'll have some soon.

That's great to hear all around!  I completely wore out my Tours and Protos and my last pair of Sensei's and I was getting worried about this season.

As soon as I get a better hint of spring I'm going to be ordering at least one pair of the Motion.

I still have the Sensei.  I work out in the gym with them including all my mirror golf swing work.

Same here.   I am thinking the TRUE motion Grey/Navy/White shoes would work well with some East Coast blue.  I think that I may have to get a pair of those for this year.

I will be waiting to see what exactly the options are for the true classix.  Cause I'm a class kinda guy :-D Also excited to hear that hopefully they are going back to the wider fit of 2013.  I hugely bummed out to find that I could not wear the 2014's due to the shrunk sizing.  I know that a lot of people hate the clown toe box look.  But it was sure nice to own a pair of shoes that I could actually wear and be pain free.  But my older tours are starting get get pretty worn out....It's time for a upgrade.

The Sensei is my everyday sneaker now. The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn.

Ditto, agreed. I wonder how much old stock they have in 10.5…

    • Day 11: did mirror work for a while. Worked on the same stuff.
    • I'm not sure you're calculating the number of strokes you would need to give correctly. The way I figure it, a 6.9 index golfer playing from tees that are rated 70.8/126 would have a course handicap of 6. A 20-index golfer playing from tees that are rated 64/106 would have a course handicap of 11. Therefore, based on the example above, assuming this is the same golf course and these index & slope numbers are based on the different tees, you should only have to give 5 strokes (or one stroke on the five most difficult holes if match play) not 6. Regardless, I get your point...the average golfer has no understanding of how the system works and trying to explain it to people, who haven't bothered to read the documentation provided by either the USGA or the R&A, is hopeless. In any case, I think the WHS as it currently is, does the best job possible of leveling the playing field and I think most golfers (obviously, based on the back & forth on this thread, not all golfers) at least comprehend that.
    • Day 115 12-5 Skills work tonight. Mostly just trying to be more aware of the shaft and where it's at. Hit foam golf balls.
    • Day 25 (5 Dec 25) - total rain day, worked on tempo and distance control.
    • Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
