That is a great picture.  In the US Amateur I think Cantlay may have got himself into that bunker.  Not a good place to be.

Awesome! I am guessing most guys won't go with a caddy.  No pressure on anyone to use a caddy btw.  Obviously the course would prefer it, but let's be honest, they are already getting plenty of our money.  ;-)

So our for sure guys thus far are:

It looks like this is probably our group.  I am really looking forward to it.  I will probably call soon and scale it back to one tee time.  If anyone else wants to join, we probably need at least a couple guys(I could fill a spot or two with people I know), and would need to know soon.

If I can't starting hitting my long irons better Ill need the whole tee time behind us to finish . :whistle: Im very excited about playing Erin.  I honestly don't even care how I play it will be a cool experience.

I can't wait to play this course! Good thing I have a few months cause my game is in shambles right now... lots of winter rust has to be knocked off. This hole looks like it could really throw some salt in the wound of a potentially really rough day of golf lol

Not to mention it's at the end of an 8 mile walk ha ha ha.

OK cool. I live in Kaukauna now.. about 15 mins south of Green Bay... I'm from Mikwaukee... I lived in North Prairie for about a year also

I may have a condo available(it is my parents and they are not there very much) that you and @GolfLug could stay at. It is in Waukesha. I would just have to check with them and of course no costs to that.

Anywhere I can rest my head for a reasonable price would suffice. I have no problem sharing a room or staying at @cipher parents condo.

It's just a bunker, not water. Cant swim but I can build sand castles on the beach all day :-D .

This course seems to have a ruthless quality and I am sure if the wind blows it will probably be just downright hilarious but  am gonna do my best to not show up intimidated right out of the gates. I will be a little upset if I don't break 100 but it will be really cool in two years when they play the US Open and you can REALLY follow each hole.

I used to caddie at Erin Hills and the bottom picture is of the old 4th hole. The green isn't there anymore. It's up and to the left.

If you can't drive the ball in the 250 range consistently don't play the blues or blacks. There are a ton of forced carries that require 250 yards in the air to get over the tall stuff from the backs.

The caddies normally played the blues on calm days for a challenge and greens when it was windy. That's just my 2 cents.

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
